On Monday Her Excellency the Governor continued her official Vice-Regal visit to Singapore and Vietnam to promote South Australia.

In the morning, in Singapore, the Governor and His Excellency the Honourable William Hodgman, Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, met with Mr Gan Kim Yong, Minister for Trade and Industry; followed by a meeting with Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Education.

Later, the Governor met with Ms Yvonne Tham, Chief Executive Officer, and Ms Rachelle Tan, Director - Venues and Planning, The Esplanade.

Afterwards the Governor attended a luncheon hosted by the Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, His Excellency the Honourable William Hodgman with foreign policy experts.

Later the Governor met with Her Excellency Madam Halimah Yacob, President of the Republic of Singapore.

In the evening, the Governor departed for Ho Chi Minh City and attended a dinner hosted by Ms Sarah Hooper, Consul‑General of Australia in Ho Chi Minh City, and Mr Michael Wood.
