On Monday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a morning tea, followed by a tour, for members of The Australiana Society.
In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Douglas Gautier AM, CEO and Artistic Director, Adelaide Festival Centre.
Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Her Excellency Ms Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, Mr Pitchaya Sonjai, Counsellor at the Royal Thai Embassy, and Mrs Mandy‑Jane Giannopoulos, Honorary‑Consul of Thailand.
During the day, the Governor spoke by telephone to The Hon Geoff Brock MP, Minister for Veterans Affairs; Mr Dave Petersen, President, and Mr Ian Smith, Chair of the Anzac Day Committee, The Returned and Services League (RSL) of Australia (SA/NT Branch); Mr Robert Eley, President, Legacy Club of South Australia and Broken Hill Inc.; Mr Paul Rosenzweig, President and Secretary of the National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association Inc. (SA&NT Branch); and Mr Brett Grosser, President of the Association of Totally and Permanently Incapacitated Ex‑Service Men and Women (SA Branch) Inc.; and Ms Diane Carr, President, Australian War Widows (SA) Inc. The Governor is patron of the preceding five organisations. She also spoke to Mr Paul Flynn, CEO of Military and Emergency Services Health Australia (MESHA), of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons; and Mr Bill Denny AM BM.
