On Monday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor hosted a morning tea to welcome participants from Taiwan and Japan in the English as a Medium of Instruction Program at the University of Adelaide’s English Language Centre.
In the afternoon, the Governor received Mr Tim Whetstone MP, Shadow Minister for Trade and Investment.
Afterwards, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the delegates at the welcome function for the National Elder Abuse Conference – ‘Turn up the Volume’, jointly hosted by Elder Abuse Action Australia and the Aged Rights Advocacy Service. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of the Aged Rights Advocacy Service.
