On Monday, at Parliament House Canberra, Her Excellency the Governor, in company with the Governor‑General, the other State Governors and the Administrator of the Northern Territory, were received by Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Afterwards, accompanied by Mr Bunten, the Governor attended the Parliamentary Reception in honour of Their Majesties.

Also in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency The Honourable Chief Justice Christopher Kourakis, as Governor’s Deputy, hosted a reception to present the 2024 Children’s Week Awards. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of the Children’s Week Association of SA.
