On Friday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Brigadier Graham Goodwin CSC, Army Area Representative – South Australia, Australian Army; Air Commodore Ross Bender, Senior Australian Defence Force Officer – Edinburgh Precinct, Royal Australian Air Force and Commander Alastair Cooper ADC RAN, Commanding Officer, Royal Australian Navy, followed by a breakfast.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mr Bunten visited the Wayville COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at Adelaide Showground, where they were briefed on the pandemic and vaccine rollout in South Australia and escorted on a tour of the site by Mr Grant Stevens APM, Commissioner of South Australia Police and Professor Nicola Spurrier PSM, Chief Public Health Officer.

Afterwards also at the Adelaide Showground, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests and presented the 2021 Governor’s Trophies for the Best South Australian Red and White Wines in Show at a function hosted by the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of South Australia.
