On Friday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten received Ms Cathie Brown, Chief Executive Officer, Leaders Institute of South Australia, of which the Governor is patron.

Afterwards the Governor and Mr Bunten visited and toured Guildhouse at the Lion Arts Centre, as part of a series of visits to industry.

Later at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Mr Geoff Strempel, Director, and Mr David Brooks, Team Leader, Research and Discovery, State Library of South Australia.

In the afternoon at Adelaide Oval, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended an opening reception in celebration of the establishment of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Adelaide hosted by Mr Junji Shimada, Consul-Generalof Japan.

In the evening at the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, officially opened the exhibition 'Archie 100: A Century of the Archibald Prize and Robert Wilson: Moving portraits'.

Afterwards at Her Majesty’s Theatre, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the opening night of The Australian Ballet's 'Counterpointe'.
