On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor hosted a breakfast to celebrate International Women’s Day, with guest speaker Ms Danielle Wood, Chair, Productivity Commission.
Also in the morning, Mr Bunten received Ms Kiri Hagenus, Managing Director, Children’s University Australasia. Mr Bunten is a Board Member of Children’s University Australasia.
Afterwards, at the University of Adelaide, the Governor attended the University of Adelaide’s International Women’s Day event ‘Stand Tall: A Celebration of Female Scholarship’.
Later, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor attended the South Australian Business Chamber’s International Women’s Day 2025 luncheon.
In the afternoon, at The Arts Theatre, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended ‘Nancy Bates and Friends’, part of the Adelaide Fringe.
Afterwards, at Botanic Park, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the 2025 WOMADelaide Welcome Event.
In the evening, at the Adelaide College of the Arts, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended ‘RIP, DRAG & RUMINATE’, part of Adelaide Fringe.
During the day, the Governor and Mr Bunten opened the grounds of Government House to members of the public to attend a garden tour conducted by The Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons, and to have Lunch on the Lawns, with music provided on this occasion by the Brighton Secondary School Jazz Combo. The next Lunch on the Lawns will be on Friday, 3 April.
