In the afternoon, at the Adelaide Showground, His Excellency Dr Richard Harris SC OAM, as Governor’s Deputy, and Mrs Fiona Harris, attended the Royal Adelaide Show Official Luncheon, hosted by the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of SA, of which the Governor is patron.

During the day, the grounds of Government House were open to members of the public to attend a garden tour conducted by The Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons, followed by a lunch time concert on the lawns with music provided by The Band of the 10th/27th Battalion Royal South Australia Regiment.

Also during the day, students from St Pius X School toured Government House.
