On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Mr Justin Hayhurst, Australia’s Ambassador to Japan.

Afterwards, at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), the Governor attended the launch of the Medical Journal of Australia’s 2024 Indigenous Health Special Issue: Centring Indigenous Knowledges.

Later, at Government House, the Governor received Professor Alex Brown, Professor of Indigenous Genomics, Telethon Institute and the Australian National University; and Professor Deborah White, Theme Leader Precision Cancer Medicine, SAHMRI, and conducted the second session of the Government House Winter Conversation Series, titled ‘Healthcare of the Future – Genomics and Precision Medicine’.
