On Friday morning at Wayville, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, officially launched National Science Week in South Australia and addressed the guests at the Science Alive Women in STEM event hosted by the South Australian National Science Week Coordinating Committee.

Later at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Mr Enrico Palermo, Head, and Ms Dara Williams, Deputy Head, Australian Space Agency.

During the day, students from King's Baptist Grammar School toured Government House.
