On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor hosted a morning tea for The Honourable Sir Eric Neal AC CVO, Former Governor of South Australia; Mr Mark Rigotti, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD); Mr Tim Sarah, SA Divisional Council President AICD, and Managing Director, Sarah Constructions; Mr Andrew Harris, Head of Membership, AICD; Ms Pasqui D’aloia, State Manager – South Australia, AICD; and Dr Susan Neuhaus AM CSC, Former SA-NT Division President and Chair, AICD, and was presented with an historical document from the AICD.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor, as patron of the Leaders Institute of South Australia, received Mr Todd Roberts, Chair, and Ms Cathie Brown, Chief Executive Officer, Leaders Institute of South Australia.

In the evening, at Adelaide Oval, the Governor, as patron of the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), Mr Bunten, and Ms Sophie Bunten, attended the South Australian Football Commission Chairman’s Official Match Day Function, followed by the Port Adelaide v Essendon Bombers football match.

During the day, the Governor and Mr Bunten opened the grounds of Government House to members of the public to attend a garden tour conducted by The Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons, and to have Lunch on the Lawns, with music provided on this occasion by The Royal Australian Navy Band South Australia: The Commodores, and football games provided by SANFL.
