On Friday afternoon, at the National Wine Centre of Australia, His Excellency Dr Richard Harris SC OAM addressed the guests and participated in the presentation of the 2024 StudyAdelaide International Student Awards. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of StudyAdelaide.

During the day, the grounds of Government House were opened to members of the public as part of the “Lunch on the Lawns” program, including a garden tour conducted by The Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, of which Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons, followed by a lunch time concert on the lawns with music provided by the City of Adelaide Concert Band.
