On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Dr Angela Macdonald PSM, Australian Ambassador to Thailand.

Afterwards, at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander War Memorial, the Governor and Mr Bunten laid a wreath at the annual Aboriginal Veterans’ Commemorative Service.

Later, at Elder Hall, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the ‘She Speaks’ lunchtime concert.

In the evening, at The David Roche Foundation House Museum, the Governor officially opened the Luke Jones Collection of Australian Toys 1880 – 1965 exhibition.

Also in the evening, Mr Bunten, as patron of Bowls SA, attended the Bowls SA Awards Night and presented the Community Spirit Award for 2023-2024.

Afterwards, at Adelaide Oval, the Governor and Ms Sophie Bunten attended the CommBank Matildas v China PR VIP function, followed by the match.

During the day, students from the Thebarton Senior College New Arrival Program toured Government House.
