On Friday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Sarah Game MLC.

Later at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander War Memorial, Torrens Parade Ground, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, placed a wreath at the Aboriginal Veterans Commemorative Service organised by The Aboriginal Veterans of South Australia.

In the evening at the Adelaide Oval, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the Reach for the Stars Ball organised by the Sammy D Foundation, of which the Governor is patron.

Also in the evening, the façade of Government House was illuminated in celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The illumination will continue until 8 June 2022, with the front lawn area of the House being open to the public until 5 June 2022. The House itself will be open to the public on 5 June 2022 from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm.

During the day, students from St Peter's Woodlands Grammar School toured Government House.
