On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten received Sir Mark Lyall Grant GCMG and Lady Sheila Grant, and Mrs Nicky Downer AM, followed by morning tea.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Bunten received His Excellency Mr Petr Pavel, President of the Czech Republic, and Mrs Eva Pavlová, First Lady, and their delegation, followed by a luncheon. Guests included Her Excellency Mrs Jana Tyrer, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Australia; His Excellency Mr Benjamin Hayes, Australian Ambassador to the Czech Republic; The Honourable Jing Lee MLC, Shadow Minister for Multicultural Affairs and Shadow Minister for Tourism; Mrs Zuzana Slováková, Consul-General of the Czech Republic in Sydney; Ms Vera Holt, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Adelaide; Mrs Lida Chludilova, President, Czechoslovak Club in South Australia; and Ms Michaela Svojsová, Czech School Adelaide.

Later, in the grounds of Government House, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, as joint patrons of StudyAdelaide, addressed the guests at a Christmas Garden Party to farewell international students.
