On Friday afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor hosted a luncheon for Her Excellency Mrs Vicki Treadell CMG MVO, High Commissioner of the United Kingdom. Guests were Mrs Oonagh Lewis, Deputy Consul-General of the United Kingdom; Mr Ian Smith AM, Honorary Consul of the United Kingdom in South Australia; Mr Robert Crook, Innovation Lead for Agriculture Engineering, Innovate UK; Dr Jessica Stokes, Co-Founder, Enstic; Mr Michael Ruggier, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Airponix Ltd; Mr Dan Peel, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Ostara Technologies; Mr Eoin Ryan, Managing Director, Natural Stockcare; Dr Michelle Perugini, Head of Commercialisation, University of South Australia; Ms Marie Ellul, Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Director, Art Lab Solutions; Mr Michael Macolino, Managing Director, Recode Ventures; and Mr Jordy Kitschke, Founder, Flux Robotics.

Afterwards, at Mile End, the Governor officially opened and presented an award at The Embroiderers’ Guild of South Australia’s Biennial Exhibition – Glorious Threads. The Governor is patron of the Embroiderers’ Guild.

In the evening, at the Adelaide Festival Theatre, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the opening night of the Adelaide Festival – Innocence.

During the day, members of the Campbelltown University of the Third Age toured Government House.
