On Friday morning at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the Annual National Reconciliation Week Breakfast, hosted by Reconciliation South Australia.

Later in the grounds of Government House, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at a ceremony for the dedication of the new flag deck at Government House, the installation of which will permit, for the first time, the permanent flying at Government House of the Australian National Flag, the South Australian State Flag, the Australian Aboriginal Flag, and the Torres Strait Islander Flag.

Afterwards the Governor received Ms Tanya Hosch, Executive General Manager of Inclusion and Social Policy, Australian Football League; Mr Andrew Hosch and Miss Marley Hosch.

In the afternoon Mr Bunten received Professor Stephen Callister, National Chair, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

The Lieutenant Governor, Dr James Muecke AM, has been appointed as Governor’s Deputy from 4:15 pm on Friday, 27 May 2022 until 8:30 pm on Sunday, 29 May 2022.
