On Friday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten farewelled General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK AC (Mil) CVO MC (Retd), Lady Lynne Cosgrove and Mr Matt Anderson PSM.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Mr Junji Shimada, Consul-General of Japan and accompanying party, followed by a test drive in a hydrogen vehicle.

Later at Adelaide Oval, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the gathering at the ‘Don’t Forget Me Cobber’ annual luncheon, hosted by Virtual War Memorial Australia.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor held a virtual meeting with Ms Sarah Hooper, Consul-General-Designate to Ho Chi Minh City.

In the evening at Tonsley Innovation District, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, presented an award to the Scientist of the Year at the 2021 South Australian Science Excellence and Innovation Awards night, hosted by Department for Innovation and Skills.
