On Friday afternoon at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Mr Phil Gaetjens, Secretary, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.

In the evening at St Francis Xavier Cathedral, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a Memorial Mass for Her Excellency Ms Francesca Tardioli, Italian Ambassador to Australia.

Her Excellency the Governor appointed Dr James Muecke AM to be Governor's Deputy from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday 25 February 2022.

On Friday night, in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, Government House joined other buildings in South Australia, the nation and across the world in being illuminated in the blue and yellow colours of the Ukrainian flag.
