On Friday morning, at Murray Bridge, Her Excellency the Governor unveiled a plaque and sculpture to officially open the Romani Aged Care Facility.

Afterwards, at the Australian Red Cross South Australia office, the Governor, as patron of the Australian Red Cross South Australia branch, was provided with a briefing and took part in the Telecross REDi program, which assists vulnerable and isolated people to cope with extreme weather events.

Later at the Education Development Centre, Hindmarsh, the Governor attended a farewell event for Mr Malcolm McInerney, Manager, Governor’s Civics Awards for Schools.

In the evening, at the Victor Harbor Convention Centre, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the gathering and presented plaques to award winners at the 2023 Country Press SA Awards Night.
