On Friday morning, at the South Australian Museum, Mr Bunten, attended a morning tea with representatives attending the National Conference of Royal Society of South Australia, of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor hosted a luncheon for members of the Minerva Network. Guests included The Honourable Katrine Hildyard MP, Minister for Women and the Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence; The Honourable Andrea Michaels MP, Minister for Small and Family Business; The Honourable Laura Henderson MLC, Representing the Honourable Michelle Lensink MLC, Shadow Minister for Women and the Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence; Ms Kylie Taylor, Chief Executive, Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing; The Honourable Michael Wright, President, Sports SA; Ms Christine McLoughlin AM, Chairman and Co-Founder, Minerva Network; Ms Melanie Cooper AM, Chair and Director of Corporate Affairs, Coopers Brewery, and Chair, Coopers Foundation; Ms Bronwyn Klei, Chief Executive Officer, Netball SA; Ms Caroline Rhodes, Chief Executive Officer, Primary Producers SA, and Board Member, South Australian Cricket Association; Mr Bruce Djite, Executive Director, Property Council of Australia, SA Division; Dr Cassandra Trumble, Chief People Officer, Aurizn; Ms Janelle Cuthbertson, Captain for Port Adelaide, AFLW; and Ms Christine Zeitz, Former General Manager, Asia Pacific, Northrop Gumman.

Also, in the afternoon, at Sfera's Park Suites & Convention Centre, Modbury, Mr Bunten, as patron of Meals on Wheels (SA), presented awards at the annual Awardee Day.

In the evening, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the 2024 South Australian Premier's Food & Beverage Industry Awards Gala Dinner.

During the day, students from Northfield Primary School toured Government House.
