On Friday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor viewed a livestream of the Institute of Public Administration Australia’s Frances Adamson Oration 2023, delivered by Dr Chris Sarra, Director-General, Department of Seniors, Disability Services and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships Queensland Government; and Professor Renée Leon PSM, Vice Chancellor and President, Charles Sturt University, Bathurst at the National Museum of Australia in Canberra.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Professor Marnie Hughes-Warrington AO and Mr Darren Hicks OAM, and afterwards, hosted the inaugural session of the Government House Winter Conversation Series, featuring Her Excellency in conversation with Professor Hughes-Warrington and Mr Hicks.

In the evening, at the Adelaide Town Hall, the Governor, accompanied by Ms Sarah Alpers, attended a performance of ‘Symphony Series 3: Skyward’ by the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
