Her Excellency and Rear Admiral Kevin Scarce speak to participants of the Operation Flinders program

On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Ms Michelle Vass, followed by a breakfast.

In the afternoon, at the Hilton Adelaide, the Governor and Mr Bunten, who are joint patrons of Operation Flinders, attended the Operation Flinders Resilience Lunch, featuring South Australian Police Commissioner Grant Stevens APM.

Later, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Catherine Tanna, Non-Executive Director, Board of BHP; Chair, BHP Sustainability Committee; Member, BHP Remuneration Committee; Director, Bechtel International; and Chair, Bechtel Australia.

Afterwards, the Governor received The Honourable Vincent Tarzia MP, Leader of the Opposition.

In the evening, at Adelaide Oval, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the Royal Australian Air Force – No. 462 Squadron’s Formal Dining In Event.
