On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Dr James Muecke AM, Lieutenant Governor.

Afterwards, the Governor hosted a morning tea with students and directors from Jissen Joshi Gakuen Junior and Senior High School, Tokyo.

In the evening, the Governor hosted a reception for the women featured in ‘Into the Light’, an audiovisual display currently showing on Government House façade as part of Illuminate Adelaide.

Later the Governor hosted a dinner for the Chair, Commissioners and Official Secretary of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide. Guests were Mr Nick Kaldas APM, Chair, and Ms Natalie O'Brien; The Honourable James Douglas KC, Commissioner, and Mrs Margaret Douglas; Dr Peggy Brown AO, Commissioner; and Ms Tracey Bell, Official Secretary.
