On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Ms Christine McLoughlin AM, Chairman and Co-Founder, Minerva Network.

Afterwards, the Governor received Mr Tim Jarvis AM, 2024 SA Australian of the Year and Ms Tiahni Adamson, 2024 SA Young Australian of the Year, and, with them, conducted the third and final Government House Winter Conversation for 2024.

In the afternoon, the Governor received Ms Kate Croser, Chair, South Australian Chapter, Chief Executive Women (CEW).

Later, at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Governor attended the opening event and awards ceremony for the Centre’s annual art exhibition ‘Our Mob’ and ‘Our Young Mob’.

In the evening, at SkyCity Adelaide, the Governor, who is patron of the Australian Institute of Building – SA Chapter, addressed the guests and presented the 2024 Building Professional of the Year award at the Institute’s Professional Excellence in Building Awards.
