On Friday morning, Her Excellency the Governor was interviewed by David Penberthy and Will Goodings, FIVEaa.
Later, at Dernancourt Primary School, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, as joint patrons of Children's Week Association of South Australia, addressed the guests at the official launch of 2024 Children's Week.
In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor hosted the 6th annual Australia‑Vietnam Foreign Ministers’ meeting. The Australian side was led by Senator The Honourable Penny Wong, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the Vietnamese side by His Excellency Mr Bui Thanh Son, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, and included His Excellency Mr Pham Hung Tam, Ambassador of Vietnam to Australia.
