On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received The Honourable David Ridgway, Agent General for South Australia in London.

Later, the Governor received The Honourable Patrick Conlon, Principal Administrator, District Council of Coober Pedy.

In the afternoon, the Governor received the Australian Ambassador Designate to the EU, NATO, and the Kingdom of Belgium, followed by a luncheon.

Later, the Governor participated in the 2024 SACE Board of South Australia Commendation Selection Panel. The Panel comprised Ms Michaela Bensley, Chief Executive, SACE Board of South Australia; Mr Cameron Baker, Commissioner, South Australian Skills; Ms Karen Collins, Education Services Consultant, SACE Board of South Australia; Ms Amanda Kimber, Curriculum Development Manager, Department for Education; Ms Pam Ronan, Member of the SACE Board of South Australia; Ms Karen van Gorp, Senior Policy Adviser, Business SA; Ms Aleida Mabarrack, Senior Educational Consultant, Association of Independent Schools of South Australia; and Mr John Foley, Catholic Education, South Australia.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner for their Honorary Aides-de-Camp and their partners. Guests included Lieutenant Lauren Altschwager RAN and Mr Richard Mehbrei; Lieutenant Will Tuckerman RAN and Mrs Billie Tuckerman; Captain Charlie Moore; Major Nicola Hood and Mr Ruan Vorster; Lieutenant David Russell and Mrs Linda Russell; Superintendent Darren Fielke and Mrs Karen Fielke; and Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Barnes and Mr James Blandford.
