On Friday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Mr Douglas Gautier AM, Chief Executive Officer and Artistic Director, Adelaide Festival Centre; Ms Rhana Devenport ONZM, Director, Art Gallery of South Australia; Mr Brian Oldman, Director, South Australian Museum; Mr Geoff Strempel, Director, The State Library of South Australia; Mr Greg Mackie OAM, Chief Executive Officer, History Trust of South Australia; Professor Graeme Koehne AO, Director, Elder Conservatorium of Music; and Mr Michael Harvey, Director, Botanic Gardens of South Australia, followed by a breakfast.
Later in the morning at the Ukaria Cultural Centre, Mount Barker, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a performance by the Australian String Quartet.
In the afternoon at Sidewood Estate, Hahndorf, the Governor and Mr Bunten met with Ms Ann Ferguson OAM, Mayor; Councillor Narelle Hardingham, Elected Member; and Mr Andrew Stuart, Chief Executive Officer, Mount Barker District Council, followed by a luncheon.
Afterwards the Governor and Mr Bunten visited The Cedars at Hahndorf where they toured the house, Hans’ and Nora’s studios and the artists’ garden.
In the evening the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the 2021 South Australian Premier’s Food and Beverage Industry Awards Gala Dinner hosted by Food South Australia.
