On Saturday afternoon at Oaklands Park, His Excellency the Governor presented awards at the 2019 South Australian Swimming Championships Hall of Fame Induction.

In the evening at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor attended the 2019 Santos Tour Down Under Legends’ Night function.

On Friday afternoon at Athelstone, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le observed the Santos Tour Down Under 2019 Stage 4 Finish.

In the evening at Legacy House, Adelaide, the Governor addressed the guests at a reception hosted by the Legacy Club of South Australia and Broken Hill to thank supporters of the 2018 Tour de Legacy.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon at Uraidla, the Governor and Mrs Le observed the Santos Tour Down Under 2019 Stage 3 Finish, and afterwards the Governor presented a trophy to the winner.

In the evening at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor and Mrs Le attended a Chinese New Year celebration hosted by The Honourable Steven Marshall MP, Premier of South Australia and Ms He Lanjing, Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China.

On Tuesday morning at Government House, Mrs Le hosted a morning tea for members of the Broughton Plains Heritage Society followed by a tour.

On Sunday afternoon in Adelaide, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the 2019 Santos Tour Down Under Classic events organised by the University of South Australia and by the South Australian Tourism Commission.

On Saturday evening at Semaphore, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le attended the 40th annual Semaphore Greek Cultural Festival hosted by the Greek Orthodox Community of the Nativity of Christ Port Adelaide.

Afterwards at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the 2019 Adelaide French Festival Dinner ‘Bon Vivant’.

On Thursday afternoon at the Echunga Police Training Reserve, Jupiter Creek, His Excellency the Governor addressed the students participating in the South Australia Police Youth Leadership Camp.

On Wednesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received the Honourable Steven Marshall MP, Premier of South Australia.

On Sunday afternoon at the Glenelg Beach Jetty, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, participated in the Blessing of the Waters Ceremony of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia – South Australia and Northern Territory Branch.

Later at Henley Beach Square, the Governor and Mrs Le attended a function followed by the Blessing of the Waters Ceremony of the Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia

On Friday evening at Tailem Bend, His Excellency the Governor, who is Chief Scout of Scouts Australia, South Australian Branch, accompanied by Mrs Le, officially opened the 25th Australian Scout Jamboree.

On Friday morning at the Old Gum Tree Reserve Glenelg North, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, read the Proclamation of South Australia and addressed the gathering at the South Australian Proclamation Day commemoration and community celebration.

On Sunday morning at Cowell Lutheran Church, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, attended Mass and addressed the congregation, before returning to Adelaide in the evening.

On Saturday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le departed for a regional visit to Cowell.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mrs Le accompanied His Worship the Mayor of the District Council of Franklin Harbour Mr Robert Walsh on visits to drought affected farms.

In the evening at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Catholic Church, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, attended Mass and addressed the congregation.

Afterwards at Cowell Commercial Hotel, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted His Worship the Mayor of the District Council of Franklin Harbour Mr Robert Walsh and Mrs Jan Walsh; Mr Chris Smith, Chief Executive Officer, District Council of Franklin Harbour and Mrs Jen Smith; Monsignor Paul Quirk; and Mr Carl Jaeschke, Cowell Lutheran Church and Mrs Jess Jaeschke.

On Friday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Ms Flavia Tata Nardini, Chief Executive Officer, Fleet Space Technologies.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

His Excellency Mr Breandán Ó Caollaí, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland, and Ms Carmel Callan; Dr Fidelma Breen, Vice-President, Irish Australian Chamber of Commerce - SA Chapter and Mrs Carmel Cunningham, President, Irish Australian Association - Adelaide.

Later the Governor convened the selection process for the Governor’s South Australian Certificate of Education Commendation.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Young Adelaide Voice.

Later the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a dinner for Professor Brenda Wilson, Lieutenant Governor of South Australia and Dr Kym Bannister; The Honourable Andrew McLachlan CSC MLC, President of the Legislative Council and Mrs Marcia McLachlan and The Honourable Vincent Tarzia MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly and Ms Charissa Tarzia.

On Sunday afternoon at Edwardstown, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the Vietnam Veterans’ Association of Australia, South Australia Branch Christmas celebrations.

On Saturday evening at Elder Park, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le attended the QBE Insurance Australia 2018 Carols by Candlelight in support of Novita Children’s Services.

On Friday afternoon at Marion, His Excellency the Governor officially opened the new veterans hub ‘The Yerbury Centre’ and attended the Christmas celebrations of the Vietnam Veterans’ Federation South Australian Branch.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a dinner for the Governor’s Honorary Aides-de-Camp in appreciation of the contribution made by them to the office of the Governor in 2018.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later at Government House, the Governor received Ms He Lanjing, Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China; Mr Zhang Muxing, Deputy Consul-General and Ms Xin Chen, Vice Consul, Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China.

In the evening at Hawthorn, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, presented awards at the Lions Medical Research Foundation annual awards ceremony.

On Wednesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Andrew McLachlan CSC MLC, President of the Legislative Council.

Afterwards the Governor received The Honourable Vincent Tarzia MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly.

In the afternoon at Mitcham, Mrs Le attended The Cottage Homes Christmas committee meeting.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception to acknowledge the Year 11 and 12 schooling achievements of young people under the guardianship of the Minister for Child Protection.

During the day students from Tafe SA toured Government House.

On Tuesday evening at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception to acknowledge the contribution of those who have supported Government House throughout the year.

On Monday morning at North Adelaide, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le visited the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where they toured various wards and presented gifts to children.

On Saturday evening at Mawson Lakes, His Excellency the Governor viewed the parade and afterwards presented trophies at the awards ceremony of the Australian Air League, South Australian Wing.

On Friday morning at Government House, Mrs Le hosted a morning tea for members of the Glenelg Historical Society.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon at Adelaide Oval, the Governor and Mrs Le were hosted by the South Australian Cricket Association at the Domain Test Match Australia v India.

In the evening in Adelaide, Mrs Le participated in the official opening of the Catherine House Emergency Program Expansion.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a dinner for His Honour Chief Judge Michael Evans and Mrs Jane Evans, and Judges and Masters of the District Court of South Australia and their partners.

On Wednesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Andrew McLachlan CSC MLC, President of the Legislative Council.

Afterwards the Governor received The Honourable Vincent Tarzia MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mrs Le received Mr Andreas-Konstantinos Gouras, Consul-General of Greece and Dean of the Consular Corps of South Australia, on the occasion of the conclusion of his tour of duty, and Mrs Evangelia Bisia; Mr Bill Gonis OAM, President, Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia and Mr Andrew Psaromatis, Chair, Inter-Communities Council, followed by a luncheon.

Later at the Urban Cow Studio, Adelaide, the Governor viewed the exhibition of Leanne Heading’s Art Originals.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Foundation for Australia’s Most Endangered Species.

Later at Norwood, Mrs Le presented awards at The Rose Society of South Australia’s Christmas function.

On Tuesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a Christmas tree lighting ceremony and presented gifts to children in residential care.  Christmas carols were provided by the Brighton Secondary School Band and Choir.

On Monday morning at Government House, Mrs Le hosted a morning tea for members of the Lolly Jar Circus.

In the afternoon, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le received an official call from The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Ms Sandy Vershoor, and members of the newly elected Adelaide City Council.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception for supporters of the Abraham Institute.

On Sunday afternoon at Elder Hall, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, officially opened the 30th anniversary concert of Adelaide Young Voices.

In the evening at St Peter’s Cathedral, the Governor and Mrs Le attended a special service First Chord: Celebrating the return of the Cathedral organ.
