On Monday afternoon in the grounds of Government House, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the guests at a reception to welcome athletes participating in the Special Olympics National Games, and for the final leg of the Law Enforcement torch run. 

Later at the Titanium Security Arena, Findon, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the opening ceremony of the 11th Special Olympics Australia National Games.

In the late afternoon His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex KG GCVO, who is visiting South Australia in support of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, arrived to stay at Government House.

On Sunday afternoon at the Adelaide Zoological Gardens, Mrs Le participated in the 12th annual Zoo Day as part of United Way South Australia’s Read Aloud campaign.

On Saturday evening at Magill, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the gathering at the Campbelltown City Council's 150th celebration community event.

On Friday morning at Government House, Mrs Le hosted a morning tea for members of The Quilters' Guild of South Australia.

In the evening at the Adelaide Oval, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, officially opened the new Magarey Grove, and afterwards attended South Australian National Football League Chairman’s function and watched the football match between Adelaide and Collingwood.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards at Modbury Hospital, the Governor officiated a special investiture for Mr Robert Hussey OAM who received the insignia for his award in the Order of Australia.

In the evening at the InterContinental Adelaide, the Governor attended the Local Government Association of South Australia’s Showcase Networking function.

On Wednesday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le departed Adelaide to undertake a regional visit to the Light Regional Council area.

Later at the Kapunda Bowling Club, the Governor and Mrs Le met with His Worship the Mayor of the Light Regional Council, Mr Bill O’Brien, followed by a tour of the volunteer-built Bowling Club.

Afterwards the Governor and Mrs Le toured the JT Johnson & Sons facility and were briefed on operations.

In the afternoon in the Barossa Valley, the Governor and Mrs Le attended a function hosted by His Worship the Mayor of the Light Regional Council, before returning to Adelaide.

On Tuesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Mr Mohammad Al-Khafaji, Chief Executive Officer, Welcome to Australia.

Later in the morning at St Peter’s Cathedral, Mrs Le presented awards at the Lady Day service and award ceremony of The Mothers' Union in the Diocese of Adelaide.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Ms Bodelle Francis, Chair and Mr Grant Mayer, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Members of the South Australian Jockey Club, followed by a luncheon.

In the evening in Adelaide, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the guests and launched the book 'Kieran Modra: The Way I See It' by Mr Andy Thurlow.

On Monday morning His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, officially opened the new Strathalbyn Sub-Branch of the Returned and Services League of Australia and unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion, followed by a tour of the facilities.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Ms Stephanie Austin, 2017 Recipient of the Governors Aboriginal Youth Award and Ms Shelley Nitschke, National Indigenous Women's Cricket Coach.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception to acknowledge supporters of Nature Foundation SA.

On Saturday morning at Renmark, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le toured the Twenty Third Street Distillery and were briefed on operations, before returning to Adelaide in the afternoon.
Later in the afternoon at Glenelg, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the gathering and officially opened the 2018 Songkran Festival, organised by The Thai Festival and Cultural Association of South Australia.

On Friday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted an Investiture ceremony and reception for recipients of Australian Honours.

After the ceremony the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a luncheon.  Guests included Chief Petty Officer Grant Metcalfe, Band Master; Petty Officer Tom Bastians, Group Leader and Leading Seaman Luke Townsend, Musician, Royal Australian Navy Band South Australia, which has provided incidental music during the investiture ceremonies this week; and Honorary Aides-de-Camp to the Governor who assisted at the ceremony.

In the evening at Barmera, the Governor accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the guests and presented the overall winner award at the 2018 National Keep South Australia Beautiful ‘Tidy Towns’ Awards function, hosted by the Berri Barmera Council in conjunction with Keep South Australia Beautiful and KESAB Environmental Solutions.

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted an Investiture ceremony and reception for recipients of Australian Honours, including Public Service, Australian Fire Service, Australian Corrections and Ambulance Service Medals.

After the ceremony the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a luncheon.  Guests included Mrs Erma Ranieri, Commissioner for Public Sector Employment and Acting Chief Executive, Department of the Premier and Cabinet; Mr Chris Beattie, Chief Officer, State Emergency Service SA, and Mrs Melanie Beattie; Mr Greg Crossman AFSM, Chief Officer, SA Metropolitan Fire Service, and Mrs Cindy Crossman; Mr Greg Nettleton, Chief Officer, SA Country Fire Service, and Ms Terry Foster; Mr Malcom Jackman, Chief Executive, SA Fire and Emergency Services Commission, and Mrs Kristen Jackman; Ms Carolyn Sladden, SA Representative to the Council for the Order of Australia; and Honorary Aides-de-Camp to the Governor who assisted at the ceremony.

Later in the afternoon the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council and officiated at the swearing-in of new Parliamentary Secretaries.

In the evening at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the opening night performance of The Wizard of Oz.

On Wednesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted an Investiture ceremony and reception for recipients of Australian Honours.

After the ceremony the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a luncheon.  Guests included Commander Andrew Burnett ADC RAN, Commanding Officer, Navy Headquarters - SA and Mrs Susan Burnett; Brigadier Mick Burgess, Army Area Representative – SA and Mrs Kitti Burgess; Group Captain Greg Weller, representing Senior Defence Force Representative – SA and Mrs Mandy Weller; and Mr Grant Stevens APM, Commissioner of Police and Mrs Emma Stevens.

On Tuesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted an Investiture ceremony and reception for recipients of Australian Honours.

On Monday afternoon at Oakbank, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le attended the Oakbank Racing Club’s 2018 Easter Racing Carnival.

On Wednesday morning in Adelaide, His Excellency the Governor addressed participants in the Executive Excellence Program at the ‘Fostering an Inclusive Culture’ Symposium jointly hosted by the South Australian Leadership Academy, the Office for the Public Sector and the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.

Afterwards at the Airforce Memorial, Torrens Parade Ground, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, placed a wreath at the commemorative service for the 97th anniversary for the formation of the Royal Australian Air Force.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received The Honourable Steven Marshall MP, Premier of South Australia.

Also in the afternoon, Mrs Le hosted an afternoon tea for Carers and staff of AnglicareSA, followed by a tour.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Technology for Ageing and Disability (SA).

On Tuesday morning in the grounds of Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted an annual Celebration of South Australia's cultural diversity for 420 dignitaries and guests, and presentation of the Governor’s Multicultural Awards for 2017.

At luncheon, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted Mr Norman Schueler OAM, Deputy Chair, South Australian Multicultural and Ethnic Affairs Commission and Mr Paul Vasileff, 2017 Young Australian of the Year and Keynote Speaker at the Celebration of South Australia's cultural diversity.

On Monday afternoon at the Adelaide Convention Centre, His Excellency the Governor delivered the 2018 Wunderly Oration at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, and the Australian and New Zealand Society of Respiratory Science.

During the day students from Ardtornish School toured Government House.

On Sunday afternoon at the South Australian National War Memorial, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, placed a wreath at the National Day of Greece celebrations.

In the evening at Elder Hall, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the Adelaide Youth Orchestra’s performance of Maestro 1 - Young Love.

On Saturday morning at Findon, His Excellency the Governor toured the Overseas Chinese Association Ethnic School and met with staff and students.

Afterwards at Torrensville, the Governor addressed the gathering at the Thai Festival hosted by the Thai-Australian Association of South Australia.

In the evening at Victoria Square, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the gathering at the official opening of Glendi Greek Festival.

On Friday afternoon at the Barossa Arts and Convention Centre, Tanunda, His Excellency the Governor officially opened the Rotary Districts Conference hosted by Rotary International District 9500/9520.

In the evening at the Migration Museum, Adelaide, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, officially opened the Croatian Community Council’s exhibition “Croatian settlement in South Australia: Community and Identity since 1945”.

On Thursday morning at Kensington Gardens, His Excellency the Governor officially opened the Australasian Social Business Forum hosted by the Science Technology Engineering Mathematics and Social Enterprise Learning Foundation.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received the Premier, The Honourable Steven Marshall MP, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council and officiated at the swearing-in of new Ministers.

Later the Governor hosted an afternoon tea for Hong Kong Australia Business Association and Hong Kong New Zealand Business Association forum participants.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception for the South Australian Tourism Industry Council’s 2017 State Tourism Award winners and supporters.

Later at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor addressed the guests at the Maxima graduation and awards ceremony.

Afterwards at the Hilton Adelaide, the Governor attended the Hong Kong Business Australasian Forum function hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

On Wednesday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le attended the official opening of the new Zahra Foundation facility at Mile End.  Zahra Foundation Australia is a collaboration between Zahra’s Children and Women’s Safety Services SA which supports South Australian women and children affected by domestic and family violence.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception to acknowledge supporters of the Restless Dance Theatre’s 'Restless Goes Global'.

Later at the Adelaide Oval, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the 60th Bradman Medal Night incorporating the 12th Karen Rolton Medal presentation hosted by the South Australian Cricket Association.

On Tuesday morning at Norwood, His Excellency the Governor toured the Traffic Management Centre and was briefed on operations.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception to acknowledge the 69th National Association Croquet Championships Eire Cup which is being held in Adelaide by the South Australian Croquet Association.

On Monday morning at Government House His Excellency the Governor officiated at the Swearing-In ceremony to appoint the Premier, Deputy Premier and Attorney-General, and Treasurer.

Afterwards Mrs Le hosted a morning tea for volunteer members of the Women’s Community Centre – South Australia.

In the evening at Pulteney Grammar School, Adelaide, the Governor and Mrs Le attended a reception to commemorate Commonwealth Day, hosted by The Joint Commonwealth Societies Council in South Australia.

On Friday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Wing Commander Glenn Orton, Commanding Officer and Warrant Officer Norm Coathupe, Squadron Warrant Officer, Royal Australian Air Force - No 24 (City of Adelaide) Squadron.

In the afternoon in Adelaide, the Governor and Mrs Le toured the Neami National Street to Home Hub, were briefed on operations and met with staff and clients.  Neami National is a non-government organisation which delivers recovery and rehabilitation services across Australia to people living with mental illness.

Later at Government House, the Governor received Dr Chris Bleby SC, Solicitor-General of South Australia.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le toured Old Government House at Belair National Park and met with Friends of Old Government House.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Ms Jane Russo, President, Mr Andrew Tickle, Vice President and Ms Bridget Senyszyn, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Athletics South Australia.

On Wednesday afternoon at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a luncheon for the Chair, board and staff members, sponsors, benefactors and artists of the 2018 Adelaide Festival.

On Tuesday morning in Adelaide at the Bureau of Meteorology, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, presented two awards to volunteers for significant contributions to rainfall observations.

In the afternoon at Marryatville, the Governor visited the Eastern Region Men’s Shed and met with volunteers and community members.  Men’s Shed is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes awareness of men’s health issues and the well-being of men.

On Monday afternoon His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, attended the running of the 2018 UBET Adelaide Cup at Morphettville Racecourse and presented the Adelaide Cup to the winning connections.

On Saturday morning at the Irish Club, Adelaide, His Excellency the Governor addressed the gathering at the St Patrick’s Day Parade organised by Irish Australian Association.
