On Monday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le departed Adelaide for a regional visit to Kangaroo Island.

In the late morning, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, laid a wreath and addressed the guests and rededicated the gates at the Soldiers’ Memorial Park at Kingscote, followed by joining community members for morning tea.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs Le attended a lunch hosted by Mr Jeff Howard, Proprietor of Dudley Wines and Chairman of the Kangaroo Island Food and Wine Association at Dudley Wines in Penneshaw.

Later the Governor and Mrs Le toured the facilities of the Island Pure Sheep Dairy at Cygnet River and the Island Beehive at Kingscote.

In the evening at the Aurora Ozone Hotel, Kingscote, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the guests at a dinner hosted by the Kangaroo Island Council.

His Excellency the Governor has appointed the Lieutenant Governor, Professor Brenda Wilson, to be Governor’s Deputy from Monday 30th March until Wednesday 1st April 2015.

On Sunday morning His Excellency the Governor, as patron of the Community Accommodation and Respite Agency and accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the guests to open the Cara Sunday Family Picnic at Woodville.

On Saturday afternoon at the South Australian Migration Museum, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the guests and officially opened the exhibition Untold Stories - the mass exodus of Italians from Istria, Fiume and Dalmatia and Italian Refugees coming to South Australia.

On Friday morning at Scots’ Church in Melbourne, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le attended the State Funeral Service for The Right Honourable John Malcolm Fraser AC CH, former Prime Minister of Australia, before returning to Adelaide in the afternoon.

In the evening the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Cricket Association, and Mrs Le attended the Neil Dansie Medal Presentation Dinner at the Adelaide Oval.

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later the Governor received Dr Ernie Goh, President, Australia Singapore Business Council (SA), and signed a book to extend condolences to the people of Singapore following the passing of Mr Lee Kuan Yew, former Prime Minster of Singapore.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mrs Le received Mr Juan Carlos Gafo Acevedo, the Consul General of Spain in Melbourne.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a dinner for the members of the South Australian Shadow Ministry and their partners. 

On Wednesday morning His Excellency the Governor returned to Adelaide from his official visit to Hong Kong.

In the late morning Mrs Le, as patron of The Mothers' Union in the Diocese of Adelaide, presented anniversary scrolls and badges at the Lady Day Service at St Peter’s Cathedral.

On Tuesday His Excellency the Governor continued his official visit to Hong Kong, and in the morning visited the Crown Wine Cellars to meet with Mr Gregory De’eb, General Manager.

In the afternoon the Governor, as patron of the Hong Kong Australia Business Association - South Australian Chapter, attended a networking luncheon at the Hong Kong Football Club.

In the evening the Governor departed Hong Kong for Adelaide.

In Adelaide on Tuesday morning, students from Trinity Gardens School toured Government House.

On Monday at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, His Excellency the Governor attended a breakfast for the South Australian and Hong Kong business community convened by the Australian Trade Commission, followed by a meeting with Mr Gregory So Kam-Leung, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

In the afternoon at Ocean Park Hong Kong, the Governor attended a luncheon hosted by Mr Leo Kung, Chairman.

Afterwards the Governor took part in the grand opening of the Adventure in Australia enclosure with koalas gifted by South Australia.

Later in Central, the Governor met with Dr Jonathan Choi Koon-shum, Permanent Honorary President, Chinese General Chamber of Commerce.

In the evening at the Liu Yuan Pavilion, Wan Chai, the Governor attended a dinner hosted by Mr John Tsang Chun-Wah, Financial Secretary of Hong Kong SAR.

In Adelaide on Monday afternoon, Mrs Le was joined for afternoon tea at Government House by Mrs Helen Long, wife of the Chief Commissioner of Scouts Australia - South Australian Branch.

On Sunday morning His Excellency the Governor departed Adelaide for an official visit to Hong Kong.

In the evening, the Governor attended a dinner hosted by Mr Hing Lam Kam, Group Managing Director, Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings Ltd at the Harbour Grand Kowloon Hotel.

The Governor has appointed the Lieutenant Governor, Professor Brenda Wilson, to be Governor’s Deputy from Sunday 22nd March 2015 until Wednesday 25th March 2015.

On Saturday morning His Excellency the Governor, as the Reviewing Officer, and Mrs Le, attended the Operation Slipper March at the Torrens Parade Ground, and afterwards placed a wreath at the Commemorative Service at The Cross of Sacrifice, Pennington Gardens, North Adelaide.

In the afternoon at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Mr Brad Chilcott, National Director, Welcome to Australia.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception for visiting Heads of Mission during the official visit of the Diplomatic Corps to South Australia as guests of the Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Earlier on Friday, Mrs Le co-hosted a program of visits to the Adelaide Hills for spouses of the visiting Heads of Mission.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Sea Rescue Squadron, and Mrs Le, participated in a tour of Sea Rescue Squadron Headquarters at West Beach, before joining the Squadron members for morning tea.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Mr Christopher Ashenden, President, Mr Noel Biggins, Association Secretary and Chairman of the Reunion Committee and Lieutenant Colonel David McCammon, Commanding Officer, 7th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment Association - South Australian Branch.

In the evening at the Hilton Adelaide, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed guests at the launch of the South East Asia Engagement Strategy, as guests of the Department of State Development.

On Wednesday morning at Adelaide Airport, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le visited the Royal Flying Doctor Service Central Operations Adelaide base.

In the afternoon, as guests of the Army Museum of South Australia Foundation, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, opened the Whaler World War One Centenary Display at the Army Museum of South Australia, Keswick Barracks.

Later the Honourable the Speaker, the Honourable Members and Officers of the House of Assembly called at Government House to present to His Excellency the Address-in-Reply to the Governor's speech which was delivered at the opening of the current session of Parliament.

In the evening the Governor, as patron of the Australian Chinese Medical Association Foundation, and Mrs Le attended a dinner with the Foundation Trustees at Alphütte Restaurant.

On Tuesday morning in the grounds of Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception in celebration of South Australia's cultural diversity and presented the 2014 Governor’s Multicultural Awards.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mrs Le were joined for lunch by the Honourable Grace Portolesi, Chair, South Australian Multicultural and Ethnic Affairs Commission, and Mr Keith Conlon OAM.

Later the Honourable President, the Honourable Members and Officers of the Legislative Council called at Government House to present to His Excellency the Address-in-Reply to the Governor's speech which was delivered at the opening of the current session of Parliament.

On Monday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le, as Honorary Members of the Rotary Club of Adelaide, received a call from a delegation of Rotarians visiting from the Philippines.

In the evening at Pulteney Grammar School, the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of The Joint Commonwealth Societies Council in South Australia, attended a reception in celebration of Commonwealth Day.

On Sunday afternoon His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the guests and unveiled a plaque at the Mt Torrens Primary School Celebration Day.

On Saturday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of the Irish Australian Association, visited the Irish Club in Carrington Street for festivities that followed the St Patrick’s Day Parade.

In the evening at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of the Adelaide Festival Corporation, attended the 2015 Adelaide Festival performance of Danny Elfman's Music from the Films of Tim Burton.

On Friday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor, as Deputy Prior of St John Ambulance Australia SA, received Mr Mal Hyde AO APM, Chairman; Mr Noel Hender, Commissioner; Ms Bronte Weeks, Chair of Community Care; Mr Garry Coombes, Chair of Training and Mrs Sharyn Mitten, Chief Executive Officer.

In the evening at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the Premier's Adelaide Reception held in conjunction with the official opening of the Adelaide Convention Centre West Building, hosted by The Honourable Jay Weatherill MP, Premier of South Australia.

Afterwards at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of the Adelaide Festival Corporation, attended the 2015 Adelaide Festival performance of Fela! The Concert.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later the Governor, as patron of Guide Dogs Association of SA and NT, received Mr Joe Thorp, Chairman; Ms Kate Thiele, Chief Executive Officer; Mr Ben Williams, Chief Financial Officer and Ms Julie Bryksy, Human Resources Coordinator.

In the afternoon at the Hilton Hotel, the Governor addressed the guests at the Leaders' Edge Lunch hosted by the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Later at Government House, the Governor received a call from The Honourable Lukas Enembe S.IP, Governor of Papua Province, Indonesia, and an accompanying delegation.

In the evening at Her Majesty's Theatre, the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of the Adelaide Festival Corporation, attended the 2015 Adelaide Festival performance of Black Diggers.

On Wednesday afternoon at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a luncheon for artists and sponsors associated with the 2015 Adelaide Festival.

Later the Governor, as patron of The Repat Foundation, received Associate Professor Susan Neuhaus CSC, Chair, and Ms Jan Chorley, Chief Executive Officer.

Afterwards the Governor received Ms Cara Ellickson, Director of The Gender Consortium, Flinders University of South Australia, and a delegation visiting Adelaide for the Developing Human Resource Capacity in Vietnam: Effective Service Delivery to Combat Gender Based Violence and Trafficking program being led by Flinders University.

In the evening at West Beach, the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Sports Federation and accompanied by Mrs Le, presented certificates at the 2014 Graduation Ceremony for the Federation’s training programs.

On Tuesday morning His Excellency the Governor, as patron, and Mrs Le, visited the office of Parkinson’s South Australia, followed by morning tea with staff, volunteers and life members.

Afterwards at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a luncheon for The Honourable Mike Rann, the Australian Ambassador to Italy, and Ms Sasha Carruozzo; and Mrs Orietta Borgia, Acting Consul of Italy, and Mr Sandro Speranzini.

In the evening at Adelaide Oval, as guests of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Sydney, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the gathering at a Chinese New Year Reception.

On Monday afternoon His Excellency the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Jockey Club, accompanied by Mrs Le, attended the running of the Tattsbet Adelaide Cup at Morphettville Racecourse, and presented the Adelaide Cup to the winning connections.

On Sunday His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of Arts Projects Australia and WOMAD Ltd, attended the WOMADelaide festival at the Botanic Park, Adelaide.

On Saturday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of the Vietnamese Women's Association SA, attended the commemoration of the Trung Sisters at St Francis Xavier Cathedral.

On Friday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of the Adelaide UN WOMEN Australia Breakfast Committee, attended the 2015 International Women's Day Breakfast at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Later the Governor, as patron of the Community Living & Support Services, accompanied by Mrs Le, opened the renovated Client Service Centre in Mt Barker.

In the afternoon Mrs Le attended the 2015 World Day of Prayer Service at the St Stephen's Lutheran Church.

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Jay Weatherill MP, Premier of South Australia.  Afterwards the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later the Governor received Ms Jane Jeffreys, Chair and Mr Rodney Harrex, Chief Executive, South Australian Tourism Commission.

In the afternoon at Morphettville Racecourse, the Governor, as patron of The Carbine Club of South Australia, attended the Adelaide Cup Luncheon.

Also in the afternoon at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Mrs Le presented awards at the International Women's Day celebration luncheon hosted by the South Australian committee.

In the evening at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of the Westpac Banking Corporation, attended a banquet in celebration of the 2015 Lunar New Year.

On Wednesday morning at the National Wine Centre, Mrs Le, as an Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Adelaide, attended the International Women’s Day Breakfast of the South Australian Chapter of Women in Rotary.

Also in the morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le received a delegation from the Abruzzo region of Italy, including The Honourable Dr Luciano Monticelli, member of the Abruzzo Parliament.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a luncheon for artists and sponsors associated with the 2015 Adelaide Festival.

Afterwards as patron of Girl Guides South Australia, Mrs Le received Mrs Susan Waters, Chair of the Board, Dr Michelle Stone, State Commissioner and Ms Anna Baulderstone, Assistant State Commissioner.

In the evening as guests of St Vincent De Paul Society, the Governor and Mrs Le visited Fred’s Van City Service at Gawler Place to meet with and thank volunteers and staff.

On Tuesday morning Mrs Le, as patron of The Associates of The Royal Adelaide Golf Club, attended an Opening Day morning tea at the Royal Adelaide Golf Club at Seaton.

In the afternoon in Adelaide, His Excellency the Governor addressed the guests at the national launch of the Australian Securities and Investment Commission’s Diversity Council.

Also in the afternoon, students from Pennington R-7 School toured Government House.

On Monday afternoon at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le received Ms Cat Thao Nguyen, author of We Are Here, who is a guest author taking part in Adelaide Writers' Week.

On Sunday morning His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, officially opened new facilities at St Mark’s College, North Adelaide.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of The Honourable Jay Weatherill MP, Premier of South Australia, attended the Clipsal 500 Adelaide V8 Supercar Race at the Victoria Park Race Circuit.

In the evening at the National Wine Centre, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the guests at a dinner for the launch of the Australian Vietnamese Health Professionals Association of South Australia.
