On Monday afternoon at the Adelaide Oval, His Excellency the Governor, as a guest of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, attended the Jobs4Youth Graduation Ceremony, where he presented the Trainee of the Year Award.

On Sunday morning the Governor and Mrs Le viewed the Vietnam Veterans Day Parade and placed a wreath and a tribute at a Memorial Service at Torrens Parade Ground, as guests of the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia - South Australia Branch.

In the afternoon at Payneham, the Governor, as a guest of the Returned and Services League of Australia – Payneham Sub-Branch, attended a barbeque lunch which followed a service commemorating the Battle of Long Tan.

On Saturday morning His Excellency the Governor, as patron of the Returned and Services League of Australia (South Australian Branch), and Mrs Le attended the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Pacific. During the service, the Governor and Mrs Le placed a wreath and a tribute.

In the evening at the Adelaide Town Hall, the Governor addressed the delegates at the 2015 Australasian Mercy Secondary Schools Association Conference Dinner.

On Friday morning at Penfolds Magill Estate, His Excellency the Governor witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism between the South Australian Government and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Ms Theresa Grafenstine, Inspector General, United States House of Representatives, and Ms Jo Stewart-Rattray, South Australian Chair, Australian Computer Society.

In the evening at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the Hong Kong Australia Business Association South Australian Chapter Business Awards.

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor attended a Graduation Ceremony for the University of South Australia.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a dinner for Mr Gregory So, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and accompanying wine industry representatives from Hong Kong.

On Wednesday afternoon at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a luncheon for Minister Carlos Raul Morales, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Guatemala and accompanying delegation which included Her Excellency Ms Connie Taracena, Ambassador of Guatemala.

Later at Government House, the Governor received Ms Frankie Reed, Consul-General of the United States of America.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Le, as joint patrons of UNESCO Clubs - Adelaide Chapter, hosted a reception for the presentation of awards.

In the morning, a volunteer community group toured Government House.

On Sunday afternoon, the grounds of Government House were open to view a selection of artwork on display as part of the 2015 SALA Festival.

On Saturday morning at Myponga, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of Nan Hai Pu Tuo Temple of Australia, attended the Consecration Ceremony of the Outdoor Statue of the Bodhisattva of Compassion.

In the afternoon at Firle, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, as guests of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, addressed guests at the 175th anniversary celebrations.

Afterwards, the Governor, as Representative Colonel, and Mrs Le attended the Freedom of Entry to the City of Adelaide, 10th/27th Battalion, The Royal South Australia Regiment, followed by a reception at the Adelaide Town Hall hosted by The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Mr Martin Haese.

In the evening at the Adelaide Town Hall, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, as guests of Asia in South Australia, addressed guests at the Cooking for Charity dinner.

On Friday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le participated in Walk a Mile in My Boots, in support of the Hutt Street Centre.

Afterwards at the National Wine Centre, the Governor opened the South Australian Prostate Cancer Symposium, as a guest of the South Australian Prostate Cancer Clinical Outcome Collaborative.

In the afternoon at the Adelaide Showground, the Governor, as patron, attended the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of South Australia Board luncheon.

In the evening at Payneham, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le and as guests of the Consulate of Nepal, addressed guests at a dinner for Nepal’s Prime Minister’s Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund.

 

Afterwards at the Adelaide Town Hall, the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, attended a performance of Carter Conducts.

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Jay Weatherill MP, Premier of South Australia.  Afterwards the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later at Government House, the Governor received Her Excellency Mrs Menna Rawlings CMG, British High Commissioner, and Mr Gareth Hoar, British Consul General.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Ms Susan Lee, President; Mr Gerald Lipman, Co-President; Ms Wendy Wang, Treasurer; and Ms Roslyn Foo, Event and Marketing Director, of Asia in South Australia.

In the evening at the Adelaide Aquatic Centre, the Governor, as patron, and accompanied by Mrs Le, formally opened the new offices of Royal Life Saving Society Australia - South Australian Branch.

In the afternoon, students from The Hills Christian Community School Secondary Campus toured Government House.

On Wednesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Michael Atkinson MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly.

On Tuesday morning, students from Cowell Area School toured Government House.

On Monday morning at the 7th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment precinct, Edinburgh, His Excellency the Governor placed a poppy at the Lone Pine Commemorative Service, as a guest of the Australian Army Headquarters 1st Brigade.

 

Also in the morning, Mrs Le hosted a morning tea for members of the Vietnamese Women's Association following a tour of Government House.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor, as patron of Toc H Australia Southern Region, and Mrs Le hosted a reception to announce the Toc H Young Ambassador.

Afterwards at the Adelaide Institute of Business and Technology in Adelaide, the Governor, as a patron of Education Adelaide, unveiled a plaque for the opening of the Adelaide campus of the Guangdong University of Education, Intern Training Centre.

On Sunday afternoon at Norwood, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the 50th anniversary celebration of the Hungarian Club of South Australia.

On Saturday morning at West Beach, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, presented awards at the 2015 Surf Life Saving South Australia Awards of Excellence.

On Friday evening at Ayers House, His Excellency the Governor, as patron of The Pioneers Association of South Australia, and Mrs Le attended a dinner to celebrate the 80th birthday of the association.

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

 In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception for the History Council of South Australia for the presentation of the 2015 South Australian Historian of the Year Awards.

On Tuesday afternoon at the Memorial Hospital, His Excellency the Governor, as patron of Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children, and Mrs Le visited a patient from East Timor receiving treatment in Adelaide.

On Monday evening at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception for presentation of the 2015 South Australian Young Tall Poppy Science Awards.

 In the morning, Semaphore Greek Cultural Festival Organising Committee volunteers toured Government House.

On Friday afternoon at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Master Peter Norman OAM, Vice President and Chairman; Ms Astrid MacLeod, National Secretary and Mr John Murray APM, of the Australian Crime Prevention Council.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le, who is patron of Girl Guides South Australia, hosted a reception for the presentation of awards.

Later at The Royal Adelaide Golf Club, the Governor, as patron, attended the Members’ Club Dinner.

 On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

 Afterwards, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception for participants of the Ice Factor Program.

 In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le received His Excellency Mr Chirachai Punkrasin, Ambassador of Thailand; Mr Monsak Jangariyawong, Counsellor, Royal Thai Embassy; and Ms Mandy-Jane Giannopoulos, Honorary Consul for Thailand in South Australia and Northern Territory, who later joined the Governor and Mrs Le for a luncheon along with Dr Roger Sexton AM, Chairman, Beston Global Food Company; Ms Catherine Barnett, Chief Executive Officer, Food South Australia; and Mr Andy Roberts, Chief Executive Officer, Water Industry Alliance.

 

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

The Governor has appointed The Honourable Chief Justice Chris Kourakis, to be Governor’s Deputy from the morning of Thursday 16th July 2015 until the evening of Tuesday 21st July 2015 during his absence from the State.

On Wednesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor, as Chief Patron of United Nations Association of Australia – South Australia Division, and Mrs Le received Mrs Lidia Moretti, National Vice-President; and Mr Andrew Baines, Artist.

In the afternoon at Adelaide Oval, the Governor and Mrs Le attended a memorial service for the late Mr Phil Walsh, senior coach of the Adelaide Football Club.

On Tuesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor, as Chief Scout, received Mr Graham Coates, President, Mr Harry Long, Chief Commissioner, and Mr Dan Ryan, Chief Executive Officer of Scouts Australia - South Australian Branch.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor, as patron of the Australian Craniofacial Unit, received Professor David J David AC, Chairman.

On Monday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Mr John Jarrett, President, Korea & South East Asia Forces Association of Australia - South Australia Branch.

In the afternoon a community tour group visited Government House.

On Saturday evening in Adelaide, His Excellency the Governor, as patron, and accompanied Mrs Le, attended
the Annual Royal Presidents' Dinner of the Royal Caledonian Society of South Australia.

On Friday afternoon at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Professor John McKellar AM ED, Chairman of the Order of Australia Association - South Australia Branch.

 

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Jay Weatherill MP, Premier of South Australia.  Afterwards the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon at the Lyceum Club in Adelaide, the Governor and Mrs Le, who is patron, attended a luncheon to celebrate the 93rd birthday of the Club. At the event, the Governor presented a membership badge to Ms Maria Kenda AM and Mrs Le fanned out the candles of the birthday cake for the Club.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a dinner for Mr Gary Burns BM APM to acknowledge his contribution to the South Australia Police upon his retirement as Commissioner. Guests included

Mrs Denise Burns; Mr Grant Stevens APM, Deputy Commissioner, South Australia Police and Mrs Emma Stevens; Mrs Linda Williams APM, Assistant Commissioner, South Australia Police and Mr Steven Williams; Ms Madeleine Glynn APM, Assistant Commissioner, South Australia Police and Mr Tom Osborn.

On Wednesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Ms Frances Bedford MP, Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly.

In the afternoon at Adelaide Oval, the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of the Gladys Elphick Awards Committee, presented awards at the annual Award Ceremony lunch.

Later at Government House, the Governor, as patron, and Mrs Le hosted a reception to thank volunteers and supporters of Can:Do Group.

In the evening, as guests of the Australian Ballet, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the opening night reception and performance of The Dream at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.
