On Friday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor met with Mr Andrew Fletcher, Chief Executive of Defence SA, to discuss the South Australian defence industry.

Afterwards the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a supplementary investiture of Australian Honours for Mr Reginald Munchenberg OAM.

In the afternoon Mrs Scarce, as an Extraordinary Member of the Queen Adelaide Club, delivered the keynote address at a luncheon at the Club in Adelaide.

In the evening at the Adelaide Pavilion, the Governor, as patron of Special Olympics South Australia, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, presented awards at the 2014 Special Olympics Awards Night Dinner.

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later the Governor, as Deputy Prior, and Mrs Scarce hosted an Investiture Ceremony for The Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John in Jerusalem in South Australia for Mr Grant Geyer.

In the afternoon the Governor received Mr Dean Watson, President, Ms Diane Hill, Vice-President, and Ms Jean Gill, Secretary, The Navy League of Australia – South Australian Division.

Afterwards the Governor received Mr Peter Karidis, Chief Executive, Karidis Corporation Limited.

In the evening Mrs Scarce, as patron-in-chief, attended a farewell reception in her honour hosted by the National Council of Women of South Australia.

On Wednesday morning at Government House His Excellency the Governor received the Honourable Michael Atkinson MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly.

Afterwards Mrs Scarce, as an Honorary Member of the Lyceum Club (Adelaide) and accompanied by the Governor, attended and acknowledged the 25 year members at the 92nd Birthday Luncheon at the Clubrooms in Adelaide.

In the afternoon at Grainger Studio, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, presented awards at the 2014 Gladys Elphick Awards Ceremony.

Later at Government House the Governor, as patron of Group Training Australia (SA), and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception for the 2014 South Australian Group Training Awards.

On Tuesday morning His Excellency the Governor toured the new Royal Adelaide Hospital site.

In the afternoon at Government House the Governor received Mr Glenn Docherty, His Worship the Mayor of the City of Playford.

Afterwards the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception for participants of the 2014 Youth Parliament convened by the YMCA of South Australia.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a dinner for Mr Gary Burns BM APM, Commissioner of South Australia Police and Mrs Denise Burns, and Mr Carlo D’Ortenzio, Chief Financial and Operating Officer, Adelaide Festival Centre and Ms Enza Belperio.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of His Honour the Chief Judge, attended a luncheon with the judges of the District Court at the Sir Samuel Way Building, Adelaide.

In the evening at Government House the Governor and Mrs Scarce, who is patron of Girl Guides South Australia, hosted a reception for the presentation of awards.

Later at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended the opening night performance of Cinderella by The Australian Ballet.

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later the Governor received Mr Jim Cousins AO, Chairman, and Mr John Ellice-Flint, Board Director, The Australian Ballet.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mrs Scarce were joined for lunch by Mr Don Totino OAM, Managing Director of Festival City Wines & Spirits Pty Ltd and Mrs Connie Totino.

Afterwards the Governor and Mrs Scarce received Mr William Prior, President, and his committee members of the South Australian Police Historical Society.

Later at Government House, His Excellency the Governor presided over a special meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening at Her Majesty's Theatre, the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of Reconciliation South Australia, attended the opening night performance of Pecan Summer by the Short Black Opera Company.

On Wednesday morning the Governor received Mr Bill Denny AM BM, Director, Veterans SA; Mrs Sam Jackman RANR, Chief Executive Officer, The Returned and Services League of Australia (SA Branch), and Major Bronson Horan, Project Manager, Soldier On Re-Integration Centre SA.

Afterwards at the KPMG offices, the Governor met with Mr Con Tragakis, State Chairman, KPMG and Mr Raymond Spencer, Chairman of the South Australian Economic Development Board.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception to thank supporters of Children’s University Australia.

On Tuesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Mrs Mary Burce Warlick, Consul-General of the United States of America.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mrs Scarce were joined for lunch by Mr John Schumann OAM and Mrs Denise Schumann.

Later the Governor received The Honourable Michael Atkinson MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly.

On Monday evening at the National Wine Centre of Australia, His Excellency the Governor, as a guest of Ms Mary Warlick, Consul General of the United States of America, addressed the guests at a reception in celebration of the 238th anniversary of American Independence.

On Sunday afternoon His Excellency the Governor, as Honorary Member, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the guests at The Lions Club of the City of Adelaide Handover Luncheon at the Adelaide Meridien Hotel, North Adelaide.

Afterwards the Governor, as patron of the South Australian National Football League, and Mrs Scarce attended the pre-match function and watched the football match between Port Power and the Adelaide Crows at the Adelaide Oval.

In the evening at the Adelaide Town Hall, the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended a Lord Mayoral reception to celebrate 60 years of the Hutt Street Centre and the Daughters of Charity.

On Tuesday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce toured The Wyatt Benevolent Institution's offices in Adelaide, followed by morning tea with members of the Board and staff.

In the afternoon students from Kimba Area School toured Government House.

On Monday morning Mrs Scarce, as patron of The Naval Association of Australia - South Australian Section - WRANS Sub Section, attended a meeting at Torrens Parade Ground.

In the afternoon His Excellency the Governor, as a guest of the Defence Teaming Centre, attended a Defence Leaders Luncheon at the Adelaide Oval.

On Saturday His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce, accompanied by the Governor's Honorary Aides-de-Camp, participated in activities at Woodhouse Activity Centre, before returning to Adelaide on Sunday morning.

Later at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Scarce were joined for dinner by their houseguests.

On Tuesday morning at the Adelaide Secondary School of English, West Croydon, His Excellency the Governor addressed the students at the school’s Student Achievement and Refugee Week Assembly.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Mr Dion Pietrosanti, Year 12 Student, St Ignatius' College.

In the evening the Governor, as patron, and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception to celebrate the Royal Society for the Blind's 130 years of active service to the South Australian community.

On Saturday afternoon His Excellency the Governor, as Ambassador of the Central District Football Club, attended the President's pre-match function and watched the match Central District v Adelaide at Playford Alive Oval, Elizabeth.

On Friday morning His Excellency the Governor, as patron of Sids and Kids South Australia, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, participated in the 2014 Red Nose Parade from Victoria Square to Government House, followed by a BBQ in the grounds for the children and participants.

In the evening, the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception for those attending the 1968 Royal Australian Naval College Reunion in Adelaide before attending the Reunion Dinner at COS Restaurant, Adelaide.

Afterwards at the Festival Theatre, the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of the Adelaide Festival Centre, attended a performance of Direct from Broadway, as part of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.

On Monday at the Adelaide Festival Theatre, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, presented awards at the official Volunteers Day celebrations, as guests of The Honourable Zoe Bettison MP.

In the evening at the Dunstan Playhouse, the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of the Adelaide Festival Centre, attended a performance of Melanie - People in the Front Row, as part of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.

On Saturday morning at the Netball SA Stadium, His Excellency the Governor, as patron of Netball South Australia, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, officially opened the 72nd Country Championships followed by morning tea.

In the afternoon at the Adelaide Zoo, the Governor, as patron of the Royal Zoological Society of SA, and Mrs Scarce attended a luncheon for Dr Jane Goodall, British Primatologist and Anthropologist.

In the evening at the Space Theatre, the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of the Adelaide Festival Centre, attended a performance of Caroline Nin - Songs and Stories of the Paris Lido, as part of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.

On Friday morning, as guests of UnitingCare Wesley Bowden, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the guests and officially launched the SA Community Foodies Program at the Fullarton Community Centre.

In the evening at The Adelaide Club, the Governor and Mrs Scarce joined the 90th Birthday celebrations of Sir Eric Neal AC CVO.

Afterwards the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of the Adelaide Festival Centre, attended the Variety Gala Performance of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival at the Festival Theatre.
