On Wednesday morning at the Adelaide Convention Centre, His Excellency the Governor addressed the gathering to open the 2014 Annual Conference of the Australian Association of Practice Managers.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception for those associated with the Art Gallery of South Australia’s Fashion Icons:  Masterpieces from the collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris.

On Tuesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received the Honourable Russell Wortley MLC, President of the Legislative Council.

Later the Governor received Mr Raymond Spencer, Chairman of the Economic Development Board in South Australia.

In the afternoon the Governor, as patron, and Mrs Le visited The Royal Society for the Blind of SA in Adelaide, where they toured Knapman House and were briefed on the RSB Guide Dog Service, before joining clients and staff for afternoon tea.

In the morning students from Modbury High School toured Government House.

On Monday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le, who is patron of the Children's Week Association of South Australia, hosted a reception for the presentation of Children's Week Awards.

In the afternoon the Governor, as patron of the Bedford Group, and Mrs Le attended a briefing over lunch followed by a tour of the Bedford Panorama site.

On Sunday afternoon at Ming's Palace, Chinatown, the Governor attended and addressed the gathering at the annual general meeting of the Malaysia Club of South Australia.

In the evening, as guests of the Punjabi Association of South Australia, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the gathering at the Multicultural Diwali Mela Festival at Thorndon Park, Paradise.

On Saturday, as guests of the Coonalpyn and District Agricultural and Horticultural Society, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, officially opened the 70th Coonalpyn Show at the Coonalpyn Showgrounds.

In the evening at Bonython Hall, University of Adelaide, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the annual Yalari Adelaide Dinner.

On Friday morning at the Adelaide Football Club, West Lakes, His Excellency the Governor, officially opened the 2014 Domestic Violence SnapShots 'Lift the Lid' Conference hosted by WINspire.

Later at Urrbrae Agricultural High School, Mrs Le, as patron of the Children's Week Association of South Australia, officially launched Children's Week 2014.

In the afternoon at the Adelaide Central Markets, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the gathering at the Celebrity Chef 'Cook off' as part of Anti-Poverty Week in SA.

Later in the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Mr Waverley Stanley, Founding Director of Yalari.

In the evening at Kooyonga Golf Club, Lockleys, the Governor, as patron of the Legacy Club of Adelaide, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the guests at the Adelaide Legacy Annual Dinner.

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening the Governor, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception to officially open the 2014 Adelaide Fashion Festival.

On Wednesday afternoon at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Ms Christine Bierbaum, Executive Director, Business and International Development Division, Department of the Premier and Cabinet.

During the day Mrs Le hosted the spouses of three diplomatic representatives of South East Asian nations who are visiting Adelaide to participate in the South Australia - South East Asia Engagement Diplomatic Program on a program of visits around Adelaide.  In between visits Mrs Le hosted a luncheon at Government House.

Throughout the day students from Flagstaff Hill R-7 School toured Government House.

On Tuesday evening at Government House, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a dinner for High Commissioners, Ambassadors and other diplomatic representatives of South East Asian nations who are visiting Adelaide to participate in the South Australia - South East Asia Engagement Diplomatic Program.

In the morning students from Highgate School toured Government House.

On Monday evening at Parliament House Adelaide, His Excellency the Governor attended a welcome reception for the Canberra-based High Commissioners and Ambassadors participating in the South Australia - South East Engagement Diplomatic Program.

In the morning community volunteers toured Government House.

During the day Mrs Le hosted the spouses of the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam, and of the Ambassadors of Republic of Indonesia, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on a program of visits around Adelaide.

On Sunday afternoon at Marryatville High School, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the Adelaide Male Voice Choir's 130th anniversary concert.

On Saturday morning at the Gardens Leisure Centre, Parafield Gardens, His Excellency the Governor addressed the gathering and opened the 2014 World Budo Kan Festival of Martial Arts and Culture.

In the evening at the Hilton Adelaide Hotel, the Governor and Mrs Le attended the South Australia Police Legacy Ball.

On Friday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Mr Malcolm Jackman, Chief Executive Officer of Defence SA, to receive a briefing on the South Australian defence industry.

In the afternoon at the National Wine Centre of Australia, the Governor attended the Business SA 2014 Export Awards Luncheon.

In the evening at West Beach, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, presented awards at the Surf Life Saving SA Awards of Excellence and launch of the 2014 season.

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon the Governor received The Honourable Kevin Andrews MP, Federal Minister for Social Services.

Afterwards the Governor received Ms Grace Portolesi, Chair, South Australian Multicultural and Ethnic Affairs Commission.

In the evening the Governor, as patron of the Order of Australia Association – South Australian Branch, and Mrs Le hosted a reception for the presentation of the 2014 Student Citizenship Awards.

Later the Governor and Mrs Le attended a dinner hosted by Adjunct Professor Nicola Sasanelli AM.

On Wednesday at Government House, His Excellency the Governor convened the interview final selection process for the selection of the 2015 Rhodes Scholar for South Australia.  The Selection Committee included Dr S Wells, Deputy Chair, Dr D Clode, Dr N Betts, Mr R Whitington QC, Ms J Parkinson, Ms A Heyworth and was attended by Professor G Hutchinson AM, General Secretary of Rhodes Scholarships in Australia, and Ms M Seppelt, Honorary Secretary of SA Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee.

In the evening the Governor hosted the announcement of the Rhodes Scholar for 2015.

On Tuesday evening at Government House, His Excellency the Governor hosted a dinner for the South Australian Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee members and short-listed candidates.

Professor Graham Hutchinson AM, General Secretary for Rhodes Scholarships in Australia, arrived to stay at Government House.

On Monday afternoon His Excellency the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Rifle Association, presented trophies at the 122nd Rifle Shooting Championships at Lower Light Rifle Range.

On Friday morning at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, His Excellency the Governor addressed the guests at the 23rd annual national conference of the Australia and New Zealand Education Law Association.

Afterwards at Government House, the Governor received Ms Madeleine Seppelt, Honorary Secretary, Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee for South Australia.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Le attended a dinner hosted by the Most Reverend Philip Wilson, Archbishop of Adelaide.

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards the Governor received The Honourable Martin Hamilton-Smith MP.

Later the Governor and Mrs Le hosted an Investiture ceremony and reception for recipients of Australian Honours and Australian Bravery Decorations.

On Wednesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received the Honourable Michael Atkinson MP, Speaker, House of Assembly.

Afterwards the Governor and Mrs Le hosted an investiture ceremony and reception for recipients of Australian Honours.  After the ceremony the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a luncheon.  Guests included Mr Les Jones, SA Representative to the Council for the Order of Australia and Mrs Geraldine Jones, Ms Erma Ranieri, Commissioner for Public Employment, and Mr Enzo Ranieri, Mr Greg Nettleton, Chief Officer, SA Country Fire Service, and Ms Terry Foster, and Honorary Aides-de-Camp to the Governor who assisted at the ceremony.

On Tuesday His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le hosted an investiture ceremony and reception for recipients of Australian Honours.  After the ceremony the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a luncheon.  Guests included Professor Brenda Wilson, Lieutenant Governor of South Australia; Air Commodore Stephen Osborne CSC, Senior Defence Force Representative - SA and Mrs Sonia Osborne; Brigadier Peter Connor AM, Army Area Representative – SA and Commander 9th Brigade; Commander Alan Williams ADC RAN, Commanding Officer Navy Headquarters – SA and Mrs Trudi Williams; Mr Gary Burns BM APM, Commissioner of South Australia Police and Mrs Denise Burns, and Honorary Aides-de-Camp to the Governor who assisted at the ceremony.

In the evening at the InterContinental Adelaide, the Governor welcomed delegates to Adelaide at the welcome reception for the 2014 University Colleges Australia Conference.

On Monday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received the Honourable Jay Weatherill MP, Premier of South Australia.

Afterwards the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, placed a wreath at the National Police Remembrance Day Memorial Service at the South Australia Police Academy, Taperoo.

In the evening at the State Library of South Australia, the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of the Returned and Services League of Australia (SA) Branch, attended a reception at the Ben Quilty Art Exhibition “After Afghanistan”.

On Sunday afternoon at the National Motor Museum, His Excellency the Governor, as patron of the Bay to Birdwood Run Committee, and accompanied by Mrs Le, presented the trophy to the winner of the 2014 Concours d'Elegance.

On Friday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le returned to Adelaide from Canberra.

In the afternoon at Linden Park, the Governor, as a guest of The Royal Australian Regiment Association SA, addressed the gathering and launched the book 'A Duty Done' by Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Fred Fairhead.

In the evening at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, the Governor presented awards at the 2014 South Australian Engineering Excellence Awards Dinner hosted by Engineers Australia - South Australia Division.

On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later the Governor and Mrs Le departed Adelaide for Canberra.

The Governor has appointed the Honourable Chief Justice Chris Kourakis as Governor’s Deputy from 11:00 am on Thursday 25th September 2014 until 3:30 pm on Friday 26th September 2014 during his absence from the State.

In the evening at Government House, Canberra, the Governor and Mrs Le attended a dinner in honour of Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO and Sir Nicholas Shehadie AC OBE, hosted by Their Excellencies General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Lady Cosgrove.

On Wednesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received the Honourable Russell Worley MLC, President of the Legislative Council.

Afterwards the Governor received Mr Steven Marshall MP, Leader of the Opposition in South Australia.

In the afternoon the Governor received the Honourable Bob Hawke AC.

In the late afternoon in the Hawke Building at the University of South Australia, the Governor attended the farewell function in honour of Professor Pal Ahluwalia, Pro Vice Chancellor, Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences, University of South Australia.

In the evening, as guests of the President of the Local Government Association of South Australia, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed the guests at the President’s Annual Dinner at the Adelaide Oval.

In the morning students from Golden Grove High School toured Government House.

On Tuesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Assistant Commissioner Bryan Fahy, and Superintendent Mark Fairney, South Australia Police.

Afterwards at the offices of KPMG Adelaide, the Governor, as a guest of the South Australian Sports Federation, attended the 2014 KPMG South Australian Sport Hall of Fame Announcement.

In the evening at Government House the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception for the presentation of the 2014 Lions Children of Courage Awards.

In the morning students from TAFE SA Salisbury campus toured Government House.

On Monday evening His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le, as guests of Catholic Education South Australia, attended the Catholic Schools Music Festival at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.

On Sunday morning the Governor and Mrs Le participated in the Sunday Mail City-Bay Fun Run, as part of the Australian Refugee Association’s team 'Amble for ARA’.

In the evening the Governor, as patron of the South Australian National Football League, and Mrs Le attended the SANFL Grand Final Luncheon and Match at Adelaide Oval.

On Saturday afternoon His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le attended the South Australian Country Choral Association's 50th anniversary celebration concert at the Barossa Arts and Convention Centre, Tanunda.
