On Wednesday afternoon at Mannum District Hospital, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended a Vigil Luncheon to honour ANZAC Day.

In the evening at the State National War Memorial, the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended the ANZAC Eve Youth Vigil Memorial Ceremony, as guests of The Returned & Services League of Australia (SA Branch) and the ANZAC Eve Youth Vigil Committee. Following the ceremony and meeting with youth representatives, the Governor appeared as a guest on ABC 891 radio.

On Tuesday morning at the District Court of South Australia, Adelaide, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended a special sitting to mark the retirement of His Honour Chief Judge Terry Worthington.

Afterwards at Government House the Governor received Squadron Leader Bruce George RAF (Rtd), son of former Governor Air Vice Marshall Sir Robert George, Squadron Leader Rob George RAF (Rtd) and Colonel Kathy George CBE RRC QARANC (Rtd).

Later the Governor received Mr Hieu Van Le AO, Lieutenant-Governor of South Australia.

In the afternoon the Governor, as patron of the Carers Association of South Australia, and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception for young carers associated with Carers SA.

On Monday evening at Government House His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception for the Australian Dance Theatre.

Later the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a dinner for The Honourable Ian McLachlan AO, President of the South Australian Cricket Association and Mrs Janet McLachlan, and Mr Rex Sellers OAM, immediate past Vice President of the South Australian Cricket Association and Mrs Ann Sellers.

In the morning community volunteers toured Government House.

On Saturday afternoon at Burnside Community Centre, Mrs Scarce, as patron of The Rose Society of South Australia, presented awards at the opening of the Autumn Rose Show followed by afternoon tea.

In the evening at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, His Excellency the Governor, as patron of The Repat Foundation, and Mrs Scarce attended the 2013 ANZAC Gala Ball.

In the evening at the Promethean, Adedelaide, the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended the launch of Up Front Productions' Showcase CD to promote The Front.

On Sunday morning, as guests of the Australian Indonesian Association of South Australia, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, officially opened INDOfest 2013 at Rymill Park.

In the afternoon the Governor, as patron of the Sporting Car Club of South Australia and the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, viewed the Old Keels and Wheels displays at Outer Harbour.

In the afternoon at the Naval, Military & Air Force Club, the Governor, as patron, addressed the guests at the April meeting of the South Australian Defence Industry Leadership Program convened by the Defence Teaming Centre.

Afterwards at Westpac House, the Governor, as a guest of Kelly & Co, attended the Defence Boardroom Luncheon.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as patrons of The Council of Education Associations of South Australia, hosted a reception for South Australian teachers.

Later the Governor participated in a radio interview with ABC Local Radio presenter, Mr Peter Goers, to discuss the Government House Open Day this coming Sunday.

On Tuesday evening, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a dinner at Government House for Dr Stefan Lindskog, Justice of the Supreme Court of Sweden and Ms Annika Byström. Afterwards the Governor, as a guest of The Society of Saint Hilarion Inc (Aged Care), addressed the gathering at the STAR CLUB Corporate Networking Group Forum at the Clinpath Laboratories at Kent Town.

On Monday afternoon at Belair Park Country Club, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the gathering at the luncheon held to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Probus Club of Mitcham Hills.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception to acknowledge the achievements of Life Care in 2012.

On Sunday afternoon in the grounds of Government House, the Governor and Mrs Scarce welcomed families of deployed troops from the 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment, to an Easter egg hunt, followed by afternoon tea.

On Saturday afternoon at Torrens Parade Ground, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, reviewed the Royal Australian Air Force Welcome Home Parade for the commemoration of Number 92 Wing's return from a 10 year operational commitment in the Middle East, and attended a reception following the parade.
