On Saturday evening His Excellency the Governor, as a guest of Events South Australia, attended the 2012 Santos Tour Down Under Legends' Night Dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

On Friday His Excellency the Governor led the ‘Governor's 10' team in the Mt Pleasant to Tanunda leg of the 2012 Santos Tour Down Under Bupa Challenge Tour, in support of Cancer Council SA.

On Thursday morning at Government House His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon the Governor received Mr Keith Gardner, State Director, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

On Tuesday afternoon His Excellency the Governor, as a guest of His Worship the Mayor of Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council, Mr A Aughey, attended the Santos Tour Down Under "Fine Finish in the Vines" Mayoral Luncheon at the Valleys Lifestyle Centre at Clare, before returning to Adelaide.

In the evening at Government House the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception to thank volunteers and supporters of UnitingCare Wesley Bowden's 'Gift of Christmas celebration' campaign.

On Sunday afternoon in Goolwa, the Governor drove the first ball down the fairway to commence the 45th Foundation Day competition of the South Lake Golf Club, in which the Governor also participated.

Afterwards the Governor was joined by Mrs Scarce for a dinner, where the Governor presented the winners' prizes.

On Saturday morning at the McLaren Vale Oval, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, officially opened the inaugural Harvest Festival McLaren Vale.

On Friday afternoon at the National Wine Centre, His Excellency the Governor attended the Ride Like Crazy Luncheon, hosted by the Flinders Medical Centre Foundation and the Neurosurgical Research Foundation.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended the inaugural Harvest Festival McLaren Vale Gala Dinner at Serafino Resort Hotel.

On Thursday afternoon His Excellency the Governor attended the Tennis SA Legends Club Luncheon at the InterContinental Adelaide.

In the evening at Government House the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a dinner for the Member for Ramsay and former Premier of South Australia, the Honourable Mike Rann MP and Ms S Carruozzo, and other guests.

On Wednesday afternoon at Norwood His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended the funeral service for the late Mrs E Gerard.

On Monday afternoon His Excellency the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Parliamentary Bowling Club, officially opened the 52nd Interstate Parliamentary Bowling Carnival at the Adelaide Bowling Club at Kent Town.

On Sunday the Governor and Mrs Scarce returned to Adelaide from Whyalla.

On Saturday afternoon His Excellency the Governor, as patron of The Naval Association of Australia - South Australian Section, and Mrs Scarce, departed Adelaide for Whyalla where, as guests of the Whyalla Sub-Section they attended a ceremony for the 70th anniversary of the commissioning of HMAS Whyalla, followed by a tour of the ship, and a commemorative dinner in the evening.

On Friday morning His Excellency the Governor met with Mr Andrew Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer, Defence SA.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor hosted a morning tea for members of the "Governor's 10" who will be participating in the Santos Tour Down Under Bupa Community Challenge Tour.

On Wednesday morning His Excellency the Governor met with Dr Duncan McFetridge MP, Member for Morphett.

On Tuesday afternoon His Excellency the Governor, as patron of SwimmingSA, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, officially opened the State Long Course Championships at the Adelaide Aquatic Centre.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of the Adelaide Festival Centre, attended the performance of A Chorus Line at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.
