On Friday morning at Government House His Excellency the Governor met with Mr Andrew Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer, Defence SA.

Afterwards the Governor, as Deputy Prior of St John Ambulance Australia SA Inc received members of the Order's Investigation Committee, including Mr G Brewer, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr R Greig OAM, Commissioner; Mrs B Weeks, Chair of Community Care, Mr G Coombes AM, Chair of Training and Mrs S Mitten, Chief Executive Officer.

In the evening the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, officially opened the Rosevear Boarding Precinct at Scotch College Adelaide.

Later the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of the Adelaide Festival Centre, attended the performance of Tim Minchin vs Adelaide Symphony Orchestra at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon at Government House the Governor received Mr Steve Ludlam, Chief Executive Officer, ASC Pty Ltd.

In the evening at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the guests at the 2011 Fulbright Presentation Dinner hosted by The Australian-American Fulbright Commission and Flinders University.

Year 11 German exchange students from Concordia College toured Government House.

On Wednesday at Government House His Excellency the Governor received Mr Timothy Horton, Commissioner for Integrated Design, Department of the Premier and Cabinet.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mrs Scarce presented the Centenary Award at the International Women's Day Luncheon at the Adelaide Convention Centre, as guests of the IWD Committee of SA Inc.

Later at Government House the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception to welcome the Rotary International President to South Australia.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of the State Theatre Company of South Australia, attended a performance of Molière's The Misanthrope at Her Majesty's Theatre.

On Tuesday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended the 2011 International Women's Day Centenary Breakfast at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Afterwards at the Pilgrim Uniting Church, Adelaide, the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of UnitingCare South Australia, participated in the 9th Pancake Day.

In the evening at Government House the Governor and Mrs Scarce received The Honourable Karlene Maywald and Ms Kathryn Francombe.

On Monday morning His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the gathering at the 2011 National Youth Week event "Get the Drift" at the Adelaide Festival Centre, hosted by the Eastern Region Alliance.

In the afternoon at the Royal Adelaide Gold Club, the Governor participated in the Jacob's Creek Golf Invitational 2011 followed by dinner, as a guest of Premium Wine Brand.

In the evening Mrs Scarce, as a guest of the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, attended the Neil Diamond concert.

On Sunday afternoon at Hackney Hotel, Mrs Scarce, as patron, attended a luncheon in celebration of the 57th Birthday of the formation of The Naval Association of Australia - South Australian Section - WRANS Sub Section.

On Saturday morning at the Biet Shalom Synagogue, Hackney, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the gathering at the "Celebrate SA" Sabbath Service and officially launched the Abraham Institute.

In the afternoon the Governor viewed the Rostrevor College Indigenous Art Exhibition at Rostrevor House, Woodforde.

On Friday morning His Excellency the Governor met with Mr Andrew Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer, Defence SA.

Later Mrs Scarce attended the World Day of Prayer City Service followed by morning tea at the Maughan Uniting Church, Adelaide.

In the afternoon at Government House the Governor received representatives from State High School Special Interest Music Centres, including Mr J Kong, Brighton Secondary School; Ms L Herring, Woodville High School; Mr A Sils, Marratville High School and Ms J Leahy, Fremont Elizabeth City High School.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of Navy Headquarters - South Australia, attended the Royal Australian Navy 100th Birthday Mess Dinner at the Naval, Military & Air Force Club.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

On Wednesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received Miss Chloe Fox MP, Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly.

In the afternoon the Governor, as patron, received Mr Ray Clark, Vice President and Board Director,  The Royal Society for the Blind of SA Inc and Chair of the Eye Health Program, and Mr Andrew Daly, Executive Director. 

In the evening the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Sports Federation Inc, addressed the gathering and presented certificates at the graduation ceremony at the Sport SA Industry Skills Centre at West Beach.

On Tuesday morning His Excellency the Governor, as patron of The Naval Association of Australia - South Australian Section, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, layed a wreath at the Commemorative Garden Service at the Naval Memorial Gardens, North Adelaide.
 

Afterwards at Government House the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception to mark the centenary of the Royal Australian Navy.

Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC (Retd) departed Government House.

On Monday evening at Government House His Excellency the Governor received Mr JD Harris II, Vice President of Raytheon Company & President of Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC; Mr M Ward, Managing Director, Raytheon Australia Pty Ltd and Mr A Fletcher, Chief Executive, Defence SA.
 

Later the Governor, as patron, and Mrs Scarce hosted a dinner for Mr R Payze, former Chairman of the South Australian National Football League Inc and current Commissioners.

Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC (Retd), former Governor-General of Australia, arrived to stay at Government House.

On Saturday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of His Worship The Mayor of the Alexandrina Council, attended the "Freedom of Entry" ceremony to the town of Goolwa, followed by a morning tea at the Council Chambers.
 

Mrs Scarce, as patron of The Embroiderers' Guild of South Australia Inc, officially opened the 20th anniversary exhibition of the South Coast Branch of the Guild at the Port Elliot RSL Hall.

In the afternoon at Goolwa, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, officially opened the Wooden Boat Festival and joined a luncheon cruise onboard PS Oscar W.

Afterwards the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, unveiled a plaque to officially open the Goolwa Recreational Boating Facility, before returning to Adelaide.

In the evening at Warradale Barracks the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of the Australian Army HQ 9th Brigade, attended a cocktail party in celebration of the Australian Army's 110th Birthday.

On Friday morning at Government House His Excellency the Governor met with Mr Andrew Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer, Defence SA.

Afterwards the Governor, as patron, attended the official launch of the 2011 Aboriginal Power Cup at Alberton Oval.

In the afternoon at the InterContinental Adelaide, the Governor addressed the gathering at the International Speakers Series luncheon hosted by the Committee for Economic Development of Australia in partnership with Carnegie Mellon University and The Leaders Institute of South Australia.

In the evening at the National Wine Centre, the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended a cocktail function to support the Peter Couche Foundation in association with the University of Adelaide and the Robinson Institute.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening the Governor, as a guest of Engineers Australia - South Australia Division, attended the annual Sir Eric Neal Address at the Sebel Playford.

On Wednesday evening at Government House His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a dinner in honour of Mr Edward DeSeve, Special Advisor to President Obama. Other guests included Mrs Karren DeSeve, Mr Jim Carreker, Development Committee Member, Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College Australia and Mrs Helen Carreker.

In the morning students from Pilgrim School toured Government House.

On Tuesday evening His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception in the grounds of Government House to present the Governor's Multicultural Awards.

On Wednesday morning at Government House His Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Robert Sneath MLC, President of the Legislative Council.

Afterwards the Governor received Ms Bronwyn Simondson, Honorary Secretary, Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee for South Australia.

In the evening, as guests of the Rotary Club of Tea Tree Gully, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the guests at the Joint Service Clubs Annual Dinner 2011 at the Tea Tree Gully Golf Club.

On Tuesday morning in Adelaide, His Excellency the Governor, as patron of Deaf CanDo, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the gathering and unveiled a plaque at a morning tea in celebration of the 120th anniversary of the Royal South Australian Deaf Society Inc.

In the evening at Government House the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception to acknowledge supporters of the Neurosurgical Research Foundation Paediatric Appeal 2010.

On Monday morning community volunteers toured Government House.

In the evening His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of the Cultures of China, Festival of Spring Organising Committee, attended the cultural performance at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.

On Sunday morning Mrs Scarce, as patron of the South Australian Women's Memorial Playing Fields Trust Inc, layed a wreath at the Bangka Day Memorial Service in the May Mills Pavilion at St Mary's.

Later the Governor met with Australian Defence Force members and toured the Defence Community Organisation Welcome Expo in the Denison Centre at Mawson Lakes.

In the afternoon at the Queen Adelaide Club, as guests of the Neal family, the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended a luncheon in celebration of the 80th birthday of Lady Neal AM.

On Saturday morning His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, as guests of the National Servicemen's Association of Australia - South Australia Branch Inc, layed a wreath at the annual Memorial Service at the Memorial Gardens, Hilton.

In the afternoon at Marion the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the guests at the opening of the Westminster School 50th Jubilee year.

On Friday morning, as guests of Reconciliation South Australia Inc, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the gathering at a breakfast to mark the 3rd Anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations at the National Wine Centre.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of The SA Parliamentary Christian Fellowship, attended the 2011 Ecumenical Service to mark the beginning of the 2011 Parliamentary Year at St Peter's Cathedral.

Later the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards the Governor attended the Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz School Australia Development Committee meeting in the Torrens Building, Adelaide.

On Wednesday evening at Government House His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception to thank those who volunteered as guides at Government House in 2010.

On Tuesday morning at Government House His Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Mike Rann MP, Premier of South Australia and accepted Ministerial resignations, presided over an Executive Council meeting and officiated at a swearing-in of ten Ministers.

Afterwards in the grounds of Government House the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the guests and presented awards at the 2011 Merit Ceremony hosted by the SACE Board of South Australia.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of the Australian Chamber Orchestra, attended the opening night concert of Teddy Tahu Rhodes at the Adelaide Town Hall.
