On Sunday afternoon, as guests of Her Worship the Mayor of the District Council of Mount Barker, Ms Ann Ferguson, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the guests at the community performance of "Handel's Messiah" at Inbarendi Cornerstone College.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended a Service of Worship with a Commemoration of ANZAC at St Peter's Cathedral.

On Saturday afternoon Mrs Scarce, as patron of The Rose Society of South Australia Inc, officially opened the Autumn Rose Show at the Burnside Community Centre.

In the evening His Excellency the Governor, as patron of the South Australian National Football League Inc, and Mrs Scarce attended the President's Dinner and viewed the match between Port Adelaide and Adelaide at AAMI Stadium, West Lakes.

On Friday morning His Excellency the Governor, as a guest of The Australian Institute of Radiography, officially opened the 8th National Scientific Meeting of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

In the afternoon the Governor participated in the South Australian Italian Golf Club Charity PRO AM at the Grange Golf Club.

In the evening at the Mortlock Chamber of The State Library of South Australia, the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended the 175th anniversary of the State Gala Banquet, hosted by The State Library of South Australia in partnership with the Sunday Mail.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards at Government House the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted an Investiture ceremony and reception for recipients of Australian Honours.

In the afternoon the Governor met with Mr Andrew Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer, Defence SA.

In the evening the Governor, as patron of the Helpmann Academy, and Mrs Scarce attended the Jazz Awards 2011 at the Inter Continental Adelaide.

On Wednesday morning at Government House His Excellency the Governor received Mr Deng, President of Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corporation and Mr Jim White, Managing Director of Centrex Metals Limited and accompanying officials.

Afterwards the Governor received Miss Chloe Fox MP, Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly.

Later the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted an Investiture ceremony and reception for recipients of Australian Honours. After the ceremony the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a luncheon. Guests included Mr HV Le AO, Lieutenant Governor of South Australia & Mrs L Le; Mr W McCann, Commissioner of Public Sector Employment & Mrs B McCann; Mr H Castle AFSM, Deputy Chief Officer, SA Metropolitan Fire Service & Mrs J Castle; Mr G Nettleton, Chief Executive Officer, SA Country Fire Service; Mr R Creen, Chief Executive, SA Ambulance Service & Mrs S Creen, and Mr C Beattie, Chief Officer, State Emergency Service & Mrs M Beattie.

In the evening at the Adelaide Town Hall, the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Mr Stephen Yarwood, attended a reception in honour of Ms Patricia Piccinini.

On Tuesday His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted an Investiture ceremony and reception for recipients of Australian Honours, Bravery and Royal Humane Society Awards. After the ceremony the Governor and Mrs Scarce hosted a luncheon. Guests included Group Captain S Pearson, representing the Senior Defence Force Representative - SA & Wing Commander N Pearson CSC; Colonel M Burgess, representing the Army Area Representative - SA; Commander M Doherty ADC RAN, Commanding Officer, Navy Headquarters - SA; Mr G Burns BM APM, Deputy Commissioner, representing the Commissioner of Police; Mr W Denny AM, SA representative, Australian Bravery Decorations Council and the Honorary Aides-de-Camp to the Governor who assisted at the ceremony.

Later the Governor received Mr Lance Worrall, Chief Executive Officer, Department of Trade and Economic Development.

In the evening at Magill Estate the Governor attended a dinner hosted by the National Australian Deloitte Board & Deloitte Adelaide Partners.

On Monday morning community volunteers toured Government House.

On Sunday at Rymill Park, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, officially opened the INDOfest 2011 family day, as guests of Mr Dean Edgecombe, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Indonesia and the Australian Indonesian Association of South Australia Inc.

On Saturday evening His Excellency the Governor, as patron of Foundation Daw Park Inc, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, attended the ANZAC Commemoration Gala Ball at the Adelaide Showground.

On Friday morning His Excellency the Governor met with Mr Andrew Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer, Defence SA.

In the evening at Government House the Governor and Mrs Scarce, who is patron of Girl Guides South Australia Inc, hosted a reception for the presentation of awards.

Students from Adelaide Secondary School of English toured Government House.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon the Governor, as patron of CanDo4Kids - Townsend House, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the guests at the 2011 CanDo4Kids Day in the grounds of Government House.

Afterwards at Government House the Governor received Group Captain John Teager AM, General Manager, Business Development, Defence SA.

In the evening Commodore Sydney P Lemon AM RANR and Mrs Christine Lemon arrived to stay at Government House.

On Wednesday morning the Governor, as patron of the Legacy Club of Adelaide Inc, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the guests at a garden party in the grounds of Government House for Legacy Widows.

In the afternoon the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Defence Industry Leadership Program (SADILP), addressed the participants at the SADILP Workshop at the Naval Military & Air Force Club.

Later at Government House the Governor, as patron, received Mr Creagh O'Connor, Chairman, Clipper Ship ‘City of Adelaide' Preservation Trust.

In the evening at the Adelaide Town Hall, the Governor, as patron-in-chief of The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre, University of South Australia, and Mrs Scarce, attended the public lecture by Dr Gill Hicks: One Unknown: facing death, choosing life.

On Tuesday morning, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed guests at the official launch of the Starlight Express Room at the Women's and Children's Hospital.

In the afternoon, the Governor received Mr Graham Jaeschke, General Manager and Ms Leanne Smith, Co-ordinator of the Indigenous Youth Leadership Program of The Smith Family.

On Sunday the Governor and Mrs Scarce greeted members of the public during the Government House Open Day.

On Sunday afternoon the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of the Australian Rugby Union, attended the official tournament function for the International Rugby Sevens Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval.

On Saturday evening, as guests of the Malta Anzac Memorial Committee of SA, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the guests at the ANZAC Dinner Dance at the Festival Function Centre at Findon.

On Friday morning His Excellency the Governor opened the Rotary District 9800 Conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre, hosted by the Rotary Club of Toorak Inc.

In the afternoon at Government House the Governor met with Mr Andrew Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer, Defence SA.

In the evening at the Barr Smith Library, University of Adelaide, the Governor, as a guest of The Bible Society in Australia (South Australia) Inc, attended the launch of Historic Bible Exhibition "The Book that changed the World", in celebration of the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible.

Later at Government House the Governor and Mrs Scarce were joined for dinner by Mr Antony E Charlton AM and Mrs Loris Charlton.

On Sunday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, the formal rooms of Government House and the grounds will be open to the public.  Entry is free.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening at Government House the Governor, as patron of South Australian Rugby Union Ltd, and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception for team captains and others associated with the 2011 International Rugby Sevens Adelaide.

Later the Governor, as patron of The Adelaide Repertory Theatre Inc, and Mrs Scarce attended the opening night performance of 'Are You Being Served?' at the Arts Theatre, Adelaide.

On Wednesday morning in Port Lincoln, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce toured the Kuji Arts Workshop and met with the Indigenous Youth Program participants, before joining young people at the Youthoria Cinema for a morning tea hosted by West Coast Youth Services.

Later in the morning the Governor, as patron of Bedford, and Mrs Scarce visited the Bedford Egg Farm.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended a luncheon hosted by Mr Peter Treloar MP, Member for Flinders, at the OysterBeds Restaurant at Coffin Bay, after which the Governor officially opened the Coffin Bay Foreshore Development, before returning to Adelaide.

On Tuesday morning, as guests of Mr Patrick Clark, Chairman of the District Council of Elliston, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, officially opened the newly sealed Elliston Airfield, and afterwards undertook an industry visit to the Australian Bight Abalone compound, followed by a visit to the Elliston Community Centre, where they met staff and volunteers.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mrs Scarce were guests of honour at a civic luncheon at the Elliston Hotel.

Afterwards at the Ravendale Sporting Complex, Port Lincoln, the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended an afternoon tea for community volunteers hosted by His Worship the Mayor, Mr Bruce Green, and visited the new Emergency Services complex.  Later the Governor officially opened the new extension to the Axel Stenross Museum.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended an informal dinner hosted by Superintendant Brad Flaherty, Officer in Charge, Eyre & Western Local Service Area, SA Police.

In the morning in Adelaide, His Excellency Mr Hieu Van Le AO, as Governor's Deputy, accompanied by Mrs Le, attended the State Funeral for the late Mr Kym Bonython AC DFC AFC KSJ at St Peter's Cathedral.

On Monday morning His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce departed Adelaide for a Vice Regal visit to Port Lincoln and the west coast.  As guests of Mr David Klingberg AO, Chairman of Centrex Metals Limited, they undertook a tour of the company's sites on the eastern Eyre Peninsula, before arriving in Port Lincoln.

In the evening at Boston Bay Wines, the Governor and Mrs Scarce were guests of honour at a civic dinner hosted by His Worship the Mayor of The City of Port Lincoln, Mr Bruce Green.

His Excellency the Governor has appointed the Lieutenant Governor, Mr Hieu Van Le AO as Governor's Deputy during his absence from 9:00 am on Monday 28th March until 7:00 pm on Wednesday 30th March 2011.

On Friday morning in Sydney, as guests of the Royal Australian Navy, His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended the recommissioning of the Bridge Simulation Complex and Dedication Ceremony for the "Taylor Building" onboard HMAS Watson.

On Thursday morning His Excellency Mr Hieu Van Le AO, as Governor's Deputy, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

On Monday morning community volunteers toured Government House.

In the evening His Excellency Mr Hieu Van Le AO, as Governor's Deputy, on behalf of His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, attended a reception in celebration of Commonwealth Day at Pulteney Grammar School, as a guest of The Joint Commonwealth Societies Council in South Australia Inc.

On Saturday His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended the Clipsal 500 Adelaide V8 Supercar Race, as guests of the Premier at the South Australia Suite, Victoria Park Race Circuit.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Scarce, as guests of the Adelaide Festival Centre, attended the performance of Madame Butterfly at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.

His Excellency the Governor has appointed the Lieutenant Governor, Mr Hieu Van Le AO as Governor's Deputy from 9:00 am on Sunday 20th March 2011 until 5:30 pm on Sunday 27th March 2011 during his absence on leave.

On Friday morning at Craigmore High School, Blakeview, His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by The Honourable Jay Weatherill MP, Minister for Education, addressed the students and presented student leadership awards.

Afterwards the Governor addressed the gathering at the opening ceremony of the Fourth National Synod/Congress of the Unified Vietnamese Buddhist Congregation of Australia New Zealand Ltd at Phap Hoa Pagoda, Pennington.

In the afternoon, as guests of the Anglican Church, Diocese of Adelaide, the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended a Service of support for the people of Christchurch at St Peter's Cathedral.

Afterwards the Governor attended a corporate luncheon with the Chairman and other Senior Executives of the Stamford Plaza Adelaide.

In the evening at the Adelaide Convention Centre the Governor and Mrs Scarce attended a state dinner to celebrate the 2011 Clipsal 500 in Adelaide.

On Thursday morning His Excellency the Governor met with Mr Andrew Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer, Defence SA.

Afterwards the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening the Governor, as patron of the Council for International Trade and Commerce South Australia Inc (CITCSA), and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception to acknowledge the contribution of CITCSA and the Consular Corps to South Australia's International Relations.

Afterwards the Governor, as a guest of the Port Adelaide Football Club Limited, attended the season launch at the Adelaide Oval.

Later in the Flinders University City Gallery at the State Library of South Australia, Mrs Scarce, as a guest of the Don Dunstan Foundation, attended a reception to honour the Prime Minister of Australia The Honourable Julia Gillard MP, followed by the Dunstan Keynote Address in the Bonython Hall, University of Adelaide.

On Tuesday evening at Government House His Excellency the Governor, as patron, and Mrs Scarce hosted a reception to thank volunteers associated with Rowing South Australia.

 Afterwards at the Adelaide Central School of Arts, Norwood, the Governor, as patron, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, addressed the guests and unveiled the new corporate logo for Hands On SA.

On Monday afternoon His Excellency the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Jockey Club Inc, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, attended the Adelaide Casino Adelaide Cup at Alan Scott Park, Morphettville, and presented the Adelaide Cup to the winning connections.

On Sunday afternoon at West Lakes, His Excellency the Governor, as patron of Rowing South Australia, accompanied by Mrs Scarce, officially opened the Interstate Regatta and presented the King's and Queen's Cup trophies of the Australian Rowing Championships.
